AdS6 T-duals and $AdS_6$ × $S^2$ geometries in Type IIB

Abstract

We summarise the recent results in [1], where the Type IIB AdS6 solutions T-dual to the Brandhuber-Oz solution to massive Type IIA supergravity are shown to fit within an extension to allow for delocalized 5and 7-branes of the global AdS6× S2 solutions constructed in [2, 3]. We show that the Abelian T-dual solution provides an explicit example of a Riemann surface with the topology of an annulus.
