The paper defines currently the most discussed supply chain attacks, briefly summarizes significant events of successful supply chain attacks and outlines complex strategy leading to the prevention of such attacks; the strategy which can be used not only by civil organizations but governmental ones, too. Risks of supply chain attacks against the Czech army are taken into consideration and possible mitigations are suggested.","PeriodicalId":276923,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130759796","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article deals with modelling and simulation (M&S) of the C2 system in context with Surface Based Air Defence (SBAD) and fire control and target distribution. The main task was to design and simulate procedures of C2 systems which correspond with real C2 structures including target detection, identification and assignment to unallocated fire unit (FU). The model was designed as a generic C2 model, with variable time constant using uniform probability distribution. The queueing theory was also applied for a higher number of FUs and targets.","PeriodicalId":276923,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126020908","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This one governing equation is completed by influences of: the rate of burning and the propellant gases release by combustion of propellant, heat transfer, frictional losses, etc. The problem is solved using the MATLAB code. The result of the solution represents the determination of the time courses of the propellant gases chemical composition, the pressure, the temperature, the bullet travel, and the bullet velocity. The developed computer program can be used for various tasks in the interior ballistics of arm guns. Presented model and program was validated for the case of 9 mm Luger cartridges.","PeriodicalId":276923,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128476969","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The most detailed cartographic studies available in Poland were used: a soil-agricultural map at scale 1: 25 000. Maps concerning the passability of soils were developed by conducting field measurements with specialized equipment – an electronic cone penetrometer and the type of combat vehicle with the number of its passes in the analysed area. For this purpose, two indicators were used: the Cone Index and the Vehicle Cone Index. The passability of soils was classified into three classes of passability (GO, SLOW-GO and NO-GO TERRAIN). The obtained maps were analysed, which showed very good conditions of passability in the study area. Nevertheless, this condition significantly changes with the increase in the number of passes by the analysed combat vehicles. The article shows that it is possible to use the existing database of soils in Poland and the results of penetrometric measurements to develop maps of passability, taking into consideration soil conditions. The developed maps may provide geospatial support in planning military operations and crisis management.","PeriodicalId":276923,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126348776","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The UAS implementation in the airport security system assumes the radar ability to find UAS radar tracks and to distinguish them from plane and other airspace entities on a planned flight trajectory. The airports are a very specific environment, but even there are some tasks that could be effectively performed by UAS. This paper deals with three processes: perimeter surveillance, biological protection, and surface control of movement areas.If UASs are an active network element and are connected with ground-based protection elements, are assumed not only an airport operations cost reduction but also a level of security increase.The regular and irregular inspections, a network with ground station deployment establishment and the use of airport radar are the subject of research.","PeriodicalId":276923,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125917894","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper presents the method of finding locally optimal path with respect to some physical conditions. The polyline and circular segments represent the path. Our main tool of solving this task is Matlab® software. Thanks to this Matlab scripts we found a trajectory more suited to drive robots and faster. Used with an adapted trajectory planning method, this algorithm can be useful for finding a path between two points. Depending on the stability constraints of the robot, the speed can be adapted in turns, looking at the centrifugal force that undergoes the robot.","PeriodicalId":276923,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129009739","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
