The ability to reduce process suspension time and use the concept of live process migrator makes it possible to use this mechanism to transfer processes in distributed exascale systems to prevent related process activity failure. The performance function of a virtual machine-based process migrator mechanism cannot manage dynamic and interactive events and the effects of this event on the mechanism operation and the change in the basic concept of system activity from the concept of the process to the concept of global activity. This work proposes a model that uses a hyper-heuristic approach to allocate products on shelves to maximize the retailer's profit. This work has concentrated on providing a solution specifically for a consumer packaged goods store. There exist multiple conflicting objectives and constraints which influence the profit. The consequence is a non-linear programming model having a complex objective function, which is solved by using multiple neighborhood approaches using simulated annealing as simulated annealing is a useful tool for solving complex combinatorial optimization problems. Detailed analysis of the proposed technique of using annealing and reheating has revealed the effectiveness in profit maximization in the shelf space allocation problem. Roy","doi":"10.32010/26166127.2020.3.2.234.244","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.32010/26166127.2020.3.2.234.244","url":null,"abstract":"In the last few years, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems have become widely used for security, safety, and also commercial aspects such as parking control access, and legal steps for the red light violation, highway speed detection, and stolen vehicle detection. The license plate of any vehicle contains a number of numeric characters recognized by the computer. Each country in the world has specific characteristics of the license plate. Due to rapid development in the information system field, the previous manual license plate number writing process in the database is replaced by special intelligent device in a real-time environment. Several approaches and techniques are exploited to achieve better systems accuracy and real-time execution. It is a process of recognizing number plates using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on images. This paper proposes a deep learning-based approach to detect and identify the Indian number plate automatically. It is based on new computer vision algorithms of both number plate detection and character segmentation. The training needs several images to obtain greater accuracy. Initially, we have developed a training set database by training different segmented characters. Several tests were done by varying the Epoch value to observe the change of accuracy. This paper discusses the challenge of the big data attributes: volume, velocity, variety; how they influence distributed exascale system dynamic and interactive nature. While investigating the effect of the dynamic and interactive nature of exascale systems in computing big data, this research suggests the Markov chains model. This model constructs the transition matrix, which identifies system status and memory sharing. It lets us analyze convergence of the two systems. We propose an approach in which the whole phase space at the observed points is preliminarily divided in some way into given subsets (zones). The synthesized controls are selected from the class of piecewise-constant functions, and their current values are determined by a subset of the phase space containing the population of current states of the object at the observed points, at which controls take constant values. Such synthesized controls are called zonal. We give a numerical technique for obtaining optimal values of zonal controls using efficient first-order optimization methods. However, low power geo-sensor nodes are easily compromised by security threats like battery exhaustion attacks, which may give rise to unavoidable circumstances. In this type of attack, the intruder forcefully resists legitimate sensor nodes from going into a low-power sleep state. So that compromised sensor nodes' battery power is drained out, and they stop working. Due to sensor nodes' limited capability, it is complicated to prevent a sensor node from this type of attack, which appears as innocent interaction. This paper proposes a secure GEONET model (SEGNET) based on a dynamic load distribution mechanism for a heterogeneous environment. Since, cloud computing faces a large scale resource for allocating to a large number of jobs, due to optimizing the users’ requirements; therefore, a suitable cloud-based job scheduling method must satisfy a wide range of criteria. Besides, in cloud computing, the jobs come with different priorities. Thus, in the cloud environment, a suitable job scheduling algorithm should be able to combine several priorities. This paper proposes a new multi-criteria priority-aware job scheduling algorithm in cloud computing.
