Basically, this problem has been studied in the framework of the state estimation theory which is traditional for electricity science. The paper considers the possibility of implementing a posteriori methods for energy measurements verification. A posteriori methods are developed in the framework of the state estimation theory. A new approach referred to as the energy flow problem for the parameters of electric conditions calculation, using electrical energy measurements was discussed in previously published papers. First part of the paper presents the comparison of energy flow problem and traditional state estimation on basic criteria. The purpose of this paper is to prove the normalized residual ability to reveal bad data and weighted residues failure. Previously published papers showed high computing power of both weighted and normalized residues, using a simple four node circuit. The input power flows were adjusted according to the energy balances only. This paper considers a more complicated test scheme and different measurements sets. The results obtained demonstrate a posteriori analysis implementation. The calculations show the inability of weighted residues to detect bad measurements and high resolution of the normalized residuals analysis. The calculations were performed for a constant loads mode, a live load mode without/with reverse line flows.","PeriodicalId":273613,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)","volume":"172 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123396037","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cumulative distribution function (CDF) of MaD SSC receiver output signal is obtained and used for the evaluation of outage probability (OP) of MaD SSC system. Numerical results of the proposed model are shown and analyzed regarding multipath severity, shadowing severity and line-of-sight (LoS) factor. Moreover, the impact of correlation and threshold of SSC receiver on the proposed MaD SSC model is presented and discussed.","PeriodicalId":273613,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)","volume":"87 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125508759","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Simulation results of a seven level cascaded multilevel inverter and an eleven level cascaded multilevel inverter are provided for different levels of modulation indexes. The simulation results show that moth-flame optimization model solves the harmonic elimination problem, total harmonic distortion minimization problem efficiently.","PeriodicalId":273613,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125558486","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This usually means applying a message scheduling scheme optimized for a specific configuration that typically depends on the used network topology and various message attributes (e.g. message size). The optimization of the schedule is performed off-line, during the network configuration process, and usually cannot be easily adapted in case of sudden environment changes that would affect the current network configuration. The Flexible Time-Triggered (FTT) protocol brings the necessary flexibility to a DES by means of on-line scheduling policy management that is required for operation in dynamic environments. This paper presents an OMNeT++ simulation model aimed at evaluating the scheduling algorithms in FTT-SE networks. The model is assessed using different scenarios and two commonly used scheduling schemes, namely, Rate Monotonic Assignment (RMA) and Earliest Deadline First (EDF).","PeriodicalId":273613,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)","volume":"108 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117282152","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, the selection of the methods to be used for the purpose of the oscillations analysis is limited. The Empirical Mode Decomposition technique has been widely applied in many fields during previous years in spite of numerous known challenges associated with its application. Many researchers proposed the technique modifications to suit it to their particular problems and needs. Since the Empirical Mode Decomposition relies on an adaptive basis, it corresponds to the properties of the low-frequency oscillations in power systems - nonlinearity and non-stationarity. Various modifications of the technique have been analyzed in terms of provided quality and speed of operation. Based on the results, the novel Extended Frequency-Directed modification is proposed for the purpose of analyzing the low-frequency oscillations in power systems.","PeriodicalId":273613,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132327832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Laser scanning allows providing full reproduction of topographic and geometric data of the power facility. The implementation of reverse engineering becomes possible on the basis of 3D scanning. Laser scanning of power facilities allows achieving the priority goal of obtaining a three-dimensional primary digital CAD-model and its drawings with high accuracy needed to meet the challenges of designing, construction, quality control, diagnostics and other engineering tasks. This paper presents in detail the methods and stages of laser scanning by the example of simulating (CAD-model creation) a 110/20 kV 40 MVA step-down power transformer.","PeriodicalId":273613,"journal":{"name":"2016 International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (INDEL)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126720728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
