Chen, Tzong Ru Lee","doi":"10.1504/IJAITG.2019.10019031","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1504/IJAITG.2019.10019031","url":null,"abstract":"Data privacy protection is a key problem in the research and application of the internet of things that in wireless sensor networks has broad application prospects, such as agriculture environmental monitoring, healthcare, etc. For the core part of the internet of things, wireless sensor network, it is a very challenging task to provide effective privacy protection in the process of data transmission. In this paper, a new type of data privacy protection strategy based on the additive aggregation function is proposed (hereafter referred to as DPPA). On the one hand, applying the superposition property of the node data, the paper introduces the class aggregation protocol. On the other hand, taking advantage of the algebraic properties of the polynomials and the correlation properties of the superposed data, it can reduce the data of the header files of the data packages, and reduce the data size, while improving the privacy preservation. It is believed that an improved agricultural education system could be a tool to develop the country's agricultural sector. Entrepreneurship education could be a way to enhance the farmers' competitiveness, reduce poverty and help in social and economic development. Data used for the study were collected from 134 cocoa farmers through the use of a structured questionnaire. Using descriptive and inferential statistics for the analysis, our study revealed that production technologies adopted by cocoa farmers in Kogi State includes planting hybrid cocoa varieties (4.55), weed control (4.34), control of black pod disease with fungicides (4.39), fertiliser application (4.21) and control of capsids with insecticides (4.30). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) shows that there is a significant difference (0.68, p < 0.05) between production technologies adopted and cocoa production output among farmers. This indicates that production technologies has led to quality of output and improved farm practices. This paper concludes that farmer should strive to improve more on these technologies. The industry continues to suffer from competition from Latin American producers, which has led to sharp drops in prices and income for farmers. These circumstances have pushed policy makers to promote agriculture diversification as a solution. This study sought to examine how farmers have adopted diversification. Six farmers and two extension officers were interviewed and made to fill out questionnaires on questions such as the crops they plant and the challenges they face. This investigation discovered that farmers resorted to either completely abandoning the production of bananas or restricting banana production to satisfy only local market needs. In addition, farmers demonstrated a great deal of dynamism and innovation in experimenting with a range of crops which were mostly grown for the domestic market as opposed to exports.
