Based on the results obtained, recommendations were developed for the further application of oil production intensification methods for the conditions of West Kazakhstan fields. The highest oil displacement coefficient (ODC) in the development of high-viscosity oils can be achieved using thermal production methods. To reduce viscosity, in practice, deep warming of the bottom-hole zone of the well is used, which can be carried out by electrothermal treatment of the bottom-hole zone of the formation, steam treatment of wells using downhole solid fuel heat generators, and so on. A combined heating method is proposed that allows heating the well products. Heating is provided by a solar panel all year round. In case of a decrease in solar activity, it automatically switches to a constant electric current. This method differs from others in that the solar panel continuously supplies electricity, reducing the consumption of electrical energy. In addition, the article presents the results of studies of the optimal heating temperature of the bottom-hole formation zone, potential well flow rates at this temperature and oil viscosity. Kuantayev","doi":"10.37878/2708-0080/2024-1.01","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.37878/2708-0080/2024-1.01","url":null,"abstract":"The possibility of identifying deep and ultra-deep raw hydrocarbon deposits and also the deposits of solid minerals in eastern part of Precaspian basin within Aksai-Northern Makat section totaling 70,000 sq.km. has been studied on the basis of the analysis of isodata, geological, tectonic, geophysical maps, mineral resources maps, specialized mineragenic studies, as well as new ideas on geodynamic development of Kazakhstan and, most crucial, taking into account theoretical and practical ideas about origin of abiogenic raw hydrocarbon deposits associated with formation of volcanic hydrogen, referring to the deliverables of gravity study and prospecting work, primarily magnetic prospecting. At the same time, a keen attention has been paid to the deep structure and morphology of Precaspian rift, providing significant impact on the deposits` formation. The analysis resulted with identification of, for the first time ever, several highly promising magnetic anomalies where new shallow, medium and deep petroleum and gas deposits may concentrate, including potential deposits of ferrous, non-ferrous, rare, rare earth and radioactive metals. Today's values of oil recovery factors (ORF) for Triassic horizons were determined taking into account the active water pressure regime with artificial maintenance of reservoir pressure (RPM) and the drilling of 16 new production wells. This approach required a revision of ORF values due to the transition to natural reservoir development and the cessation of maintaining reservoir pressure by water injection. The failure to drill new wells has also had a significant impact on ORF. At current production, when 44.7% of the field's reserves have been extracted, and taking into account the remaining reserves, the development period of the field will not exceed 42 years. It is also planned to increase the number of hydraulic engineering measures to expand drainage zones and involve additional reserves in development. Having compared the two methods for calculating ORF, we can conclude that although V.N. Screw pumps are capable of producing high viscosity oil, characterized by a high sand content. The use of screw pumps reduces capital and operating costs by 25-95% compared to other types of mechs. production. Efficiency increases by 40-80% and transportation costs are reduced, as the screw pumping system has a compact design and is easily mounted on the well. The structural parts of screw pumps made of elastomers are fundamental factors in determining the service life and performance of the pump. It has been established that materials based on carbonates of sunflower husks and rice husks are characterized by the process of absorption of oil and petroleum products by the entire volume. As a result of the conducted research, an optimal carbon-polystyrene sorbent was obtained (21 % rice husk, 79 % expanded polystyrene), which has a high oil capacity in terms of the amount of oil collected at 0 о C. The effect of phase transitions on the efficiency of gas purification processes under inphase turbulence conditions is considered. Based on the conditions of stability of the in-phase vortex formation regime of the gas phase in a regular packing layer, the dominant influence of turbulent diffusion mechanisms on the intensity of phase transition processes and, as a consequence, on the dust collection efficiency has been established. In this case, the predominant influence is in the area of highly dispersed and finely dispersed dust fractions. The results of the experimental studying the patterns of dust collection efficiency depending on the particle inertia index in the presence of phase transition processes are presented. The studies were carried out for three phase transition modes: condensation of vaporsfrom a vapour-gas mixture, evaporation of a spraying liquid as well as a neutral mode. Using A.N. Competitive commodity prices lead to a need for more cost-effective methods to manage reservoirs, and refrac is one aspect of optimization, ideally reducing costs by accessing more resources through existing wells. The first paper on refract is dated to 1973 in USA, and for that date more than 500 000 fracs were implemented, and 35% of that quantity was refracs. A lot of considerations are given in terms of technology since that dates, such that conventional hydraulic proppant fracturing in existing well is now moving towards refracturing second, third and even fourth times to sustain economic production in mature fields. Our paper summarizes most relevant outcomes from the industry experience on proppant refracturing methods over last several decades. This is believed that readers would gain most valuable information for their research, industry problems, and other cases from this review paper. This equipment, which is the head of the well, is forced to face various challenges during drilling, where danger can await at every step. However, special attention should be paid to those cases when the drill bit collides with crumbling rocks. In conditions of high pressure and friction associated with drilling, the drill bit is subjected to significant loads. These conditions can lead to damage and breakage of equipment, which in turn creates additional risks for workers on site. Understanding the behavior of a drill bit in crumbling rock is becoming an extremely important aspect to ensure the efficiency and safety of field work. The analysis of the technical characteristics and mechanisms of the impact of the drill bit on crumbling rocks makes it possible to develop more reliable and durable tools capable of withstanding extreme conditions. In the context of modern requirements for environmental safety and efficiency of production processes in the oil industry, where water can become a source of problems, the introduction of innovative materials and technologies plays an important role. Conducting laboratory studies of hydrophobic emulsions for WIW in the oil sector is a multiprocess approach, starting from the initial assessment of the chemical component and ending with thorough testing for compliance with the requirements of specific operating conditions. The analysis evaluates the physico-chemical properties of the emulsion, such as density, viscosity, pH level, degree of dispersion, as well as its adhesive and cohesive characteristics. Special attention is paid to the study of the surface properties of hydrophobic emulsions, since their ability to form stable water-repellent coatings directly affects the effectiveness of protection against water exposure. To do this, tests are carried out on wettability, contact angle, adhesion to various types of surfaces, which allows us to determine the optimal conditions for the use of emulsions in specific situations. The article describes the principles of action of hydrophobic emulsions in the context of waterproofing works, emphasizing their ability to create a protective barrier, preventing moisture penetration into oil facilities. The paper presents the results of laboratory studies demonstrating the effectiveness of the use of hydrophobic emulsions in various operating conditions. The article discusses the technical aspects of the use of hydrophobic emulsions in the WIW process, analyzes their resistance to various environmental factors, and also considers the prospects for the development of this technology in the oil industry. The results obtained can be useful for specialists dealing with water insulation in oil companies, as well as for the scientific and engineering community interested in the development of innovative technologies in the oil sector. This study delineates the methodology for fabricating a microchip with channels having a width of 50 μm, designed to simulate and visualize fluid flow in porous media. The microfluidic device was constructed using NOA81, a UV-curable polymer. Upon curing, it forms a robust and transparent microchip structure suitable for precise fluid control and analysis in microfluidic applications. Flood experiments conducted on the microchip revealed that the introduction of a 0.5 wt% polymer gel into the model's channels resulted in a reduction of water permeability by a factor of 106 and 25 at the shock front and after injection pressure stabilized, respectively.
