In order to improve driving safety, this paper, which starts from the unsafe elements that human body may cause biologically, analyses perception fatigue and operation fatigue of human body from the perspectives of man-machine-environment, posture analysis, human body characteristics, then constructed the biomechanical human models which makes it possible to calculate human body parts by finite element method but realize human dynamic simulate. According to the biomechanical models, the ergonomic engine then computes the body stress distribution and physical loads of body parts such as upper extremity, hip, lumbar information during prolonged driving, then study intensively the change of biological characteristics parameters such as muscle fatigue and the effect on driver performance. In this manner, the biological response factor issues of human being can be effectively taken into account at the early stage of vehicle interiors layout design and can be used for passive preventive method. A complete finite element model of a passenger car is presented. According to the basic principle of the dynamic non-linear finite element method, the basic crash describe equation and FE discretized equation are established. The frontal crash of the integrated car system is successfully simulated in LS-DYNA and the results that including the structures' section forces and energy absorption time courses, the effect of the main energy-absorbing parts, the transmitting route of the energy and the forces change are attained. Simulation results show, the structures' section forces can accurately forecast not only crashworthiness of vehicles but also the way transmission of forces in crash process. Yanhua","doi":"10.1109/CAIDCD.2006.329400","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/CAIDCD.2006.329400","url":null,"abstract":"Owing to some problems in their stability of existent building structures, the general software ANSYS is adopted to establish the finite element solid models of rectangular reinforced concrete long columns confined with CFRP sheets under eccentric compression and used to analyze the influence of CFRP sheets to these structural buckling loads. Height of columns, layers of CFRP sheets, concrete grade, longitudinal rebar diameter, stirrup diameter, stirrup spacing and eccentric distance are some factors considered. Based on the nonlinear finite element buckling analysis of these columns, some major conclusions are summarized as follows: (1) The enhanced level of buckling load is descending with the increasing columns' height and increasing with the increasing layers and eccentric distance; (2) The buckling load increment is independent of concrete grade, longitudinal rebar diameter, stirrup diameter and stirrup spacing; (3) The improvement is comparatively obvious to use CFRP sheets to strengthen the structure when its stability is poor. Thus, this paper constructs a distributed system which can change parameters of product, model and do FEA automatically. And it obtains the optimizing parameters at last. This system running on intranet bases on genetic algorithm and CATIA/CAA. Every client reads key parameters from the database in the server, drives the CATIA three-dimensional model by CATIA/CAA and the key parameters, and does FEA. After the result of FEA was sent to the database, the server evaluates the result of FEA and sends the evaluation to the database. Then, the server creates new key parameters using genetic algorithm; the system goes to next circle. The parameters, whose evaluation is the best, are the last result.
