Hyperledger Fabric (HLF) is one of the Linux Foundation’s permissioned blockchains. Many researchers developed blockchain-based systems on HLF, but the main concern for such systems is performance analysis. The performance analysis of the HLF based systems is essential for accessing their applicability and usefulness. In this paper, we conducted an overview of the various parameter taken into account while implementing the blockchain system on HLF, followed by the study of various metrics taken by the various researchers to analyze the performance of the blockchain system developed on HLF. Caliper has been identified as a prominent performance analysis tool for evaluating the performance of blockchain implementations. Finally, we analyze the performance of the blockchain system in terms of Transaction throughput, latency, success rate and resource consumption using the hyperledger caliper benchmarking tool.","PeriodicalId":272452,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130255887","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fabricated microelectrodes were characterised optically and electrochemically. Theoretical limiting currents of the microelectrode array were compared with the experimental currents to determine the diffusion profile of the disc array. The $10 mu mathrm{m}$ microdisc array exhibited the most consistent electrochemical currents; while the $1 mu mathrm{m}$ microdisc array is susceptible to ageing hence not suitable for further application. Surface functionalisation via silanisation for antibody immobilisation was then performed on the $10 mu mathrm{m}$ microdisc array for impedimetric detection of biotoxin substance (T-2/HT2 mycotoxin) using a label-free biosensor approach. When developing a calibration curve for the toxin, larger surface area is a critical factor in establishing a good standard curve. By employing a $40 mu mathrm{m}$ microdisc electrode array, the calibration curve within working range of 0 to 250 parts per billion toxin has been successfully established. The toxin biosensing can detect T-2/HT-2 toxin as low as 25 parts per billion and limit of quantitation (LOQ) calculated at 1.53 parts per billion.","PeriodicalId":272452,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130876514","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To distinguish calf postures such as between standing or lying, machines require complicated frameworks, especially one that involves deep learning models. Previously, most of the works utilized video inputs rather than image inputs, which would make the model unnecessarily complicated compared to a conventional Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model, which accepts image inputs. In this paper, to overcome all the problems mentioned earlier, two deep learning models with the exact same ResNet-50 based architecture have been built and trained on two different image datasets, respectively sourced from separate cameras placed at different angles to be compared and analyzed. The performance for both CNN models were 99.7% and 99.99% in accuracy, respectively, significantly better than the 92.61% accuracy of a similar work, and is adequate for a real-time calf monitoring system.","PeriodicalId":272452,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131104856","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The microcontroller was programmed to operate under two modes. Fully automated and semi-automated. These two modes give all the monitoring information to the user in real-time, while fully automated mode provides water and fertilizer to the plants calculating optimum conditions with minimum human interaction. Microcontroller was programmed to (1) analyze and process the received input data from soil moisture sensors, humidity and temperature sensors, (2) check the activated mode and other user settings, and (3) control the valves to water or fertilize the plants accordingly. Microcontroller and the IoT device maintain communication to receive or send data to the user through internet. A web interface was developed to display sensor data and with a control interface for the user. The user can connect to the system through Wi-Fi to access the web interface. By using the controls, soil moisture, temperature and humidity thresholds can be changed, and watering or fertilization systems can be activated. For data analysis and flowrate simulations, ‘SolidWorks’ was used. Using the same software, the enclosures and other hardware components needed to store the microcontroller, the Wi-Fi module, the power supply, and connector array of sensors were designed, 3D printed, and the complete system was assembled and tested.","PeriodicalId":272452,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA)","volume":"292 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134398508","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This system detects the wearer's movements and analyses the result in binary output conditions of ‘Fall’ for any fall occurrence or ‘Normal’ for other activities. The transmitter or FDS-Tx which is attached to the user’s garment will constantly transmit data reading to the receiver or FDS-Rx via XBee module for data analysis. Raspberry Pi as the processor in FDS-Rx provides computational resources for immediate output analysis, by using threshold method, the computed results are sent to the cloud utilizing the Wi-Fi to display the user’s condition on the authority’s dashboard for further action. The working conditions of the systems are validated through an experiment of 10 volunteers whose perform several activities including fall events. Based on the threshold proposed, the results showed 97% sensitivity, 69% specificity and 83% accuracy from the experiment. Thus, this system fulfilled the real-time working condition integrating (IoT) as accordingly.","PeriodicalId":272452,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA)","volume":"80 8","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114110456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Currently, there are several studies discussing the successful implementation of this smart village. It is claimed that there is no discussion of the basic concepts or supporting theories, so we need the formula to support this. Therefore, this study focuses on conceptual models to identify smart villages' strengths, weaknesses, and improvements. This study uses a systematic meta-analysis (PRISMA) method based on 50 articles to build two main scope models of smart villages: strategies and dimensions. Each scope also has its sub-scope. Size the item consists of seven priority areas: governance, energy, economy, ICT, people, environment, tourism. This result enriches the theoretical study of smart villages.","PeriodicalId":272452,"journal":{"name":"2022 4th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Application (ICSSA)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117233137","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
