It has negative effects on the software industry and the intellectual property market. Despite various deterrent policies, the phenomenon has been getting severe. The current study investigated the antecedents of software piracy attitudes and intention. In order to identify factors and their relationship, a research model for illegal piracy behavior was developed and empirically examined through a path analysis using structural equation model. Also, this study employed a multiple group structural equation model to investigate differences in structural weights across PC software user group and smartphone application user group. It was revealed that perceived benefit, habit, social factor, self-efficacy had positive effect on attitude toward software piracy, whereas perceived risk had a decreasing influence on attitude. Relationships between piracy attitudes and intentions were significant as well. Furthermore, the cross validation between two groups showed the path coefficients of habit to attitude and attitude to intention were significantly different. To achieve the aim of this study, we searched the papers from RISS, KISS, DBpia and the National Assembly Library of the Republic of Korea, using keywords such as ‘the elderly and informationization,' ‘the elderly and information application,’ and ‘mediator effect.’ In the search process, we did not limited the publication year or journal types. A total of 476 papers were searched as the result of the initial search. Based on three researchers consent of selection criteria, we finally selected 19 papers and analysed the important mediator variables between the information application and the life satisfaction or happiness. Using the content analysis, we analysed the quantitative analyses (including sample characteristics and sociodemographic statistics) and qualitative analyses (including result interpretation and policy implication about the elderly information education). After in-depth analysis of the papers, we built a table organized by the independent variable and the mediator variable. The comments are also being regarded as an important medium of WOM (Word of Mouse) about products, services or the enterprises. If the diffusing effect of the comments is referred to as the degrees of agreement and disagreement from an angle of WOM, figuring out which characteristics of the comments would influence the agreements or the disagreements to the comments in very early stage would be very worthwhile to establish a comment-based eWOM (electronic WOM) strategy. However, investigating the effects of the characteristics of the comments on eWOM effect has been rarely studied. According to this angle, this study aims to conduct an empirical analysis which understands the characteristics of comments that affect the numbers of agreement and disagreement, as eWOM performance, to particular news articles which address a specific product, service or enterprise per se. However, previous works which were conducted within the theme of UX mostly focused on the fragmentary aspects of user`s experience in a specific usage-context only. For this reason, it is always hard to deal with questions on how to define the abstract concept of UX and how to apply this important keyword in actually NPD process both for satisfying potential users and for setting a market strategy. To address this issue, we focused on the fact that UX has an aspect of composition like pattern and structure. It means that we can understand the context of UX with clarifying characteristics of relations between user and experiential objects. Also, we referred to two sub-concepts of Complexity, Density and Centrality, as representative characteristics of relations in usage-context. Based on this theoretical background, we attempted to find UX design principles and concepts for NPD from the actual example cases of products and services in the real market. Categorized as one kind of cloud computing, SaaS is computing resource and software sharing model with can be accessed via the internet. Based on virtualization technology, SaaS is expected to improve the efficiency and quality of the IT service level and performance in company. Therefore this research limited cloud services to SaaS especially focused on collaborative application service, and attempts to identify the factors which impact the performance of collaboration and intention to use. This study adopts technological factors of cloud SaaS services and factors of task characteristics to explore the determinants of collaborative performance and intention to use. An experimental study using student subjects with Google Apps provided empirical validation for our proposed model. Based on 337 data collected from respondents, the major findings are following. First, the characteristics of cloud computing services such as collaboration support, service reliability, and ease of use have positive effects on perceived usefulness of collaborative application while accessability, service reliability, and ease to use have positive effects on intention to use. Second, task interdependence has a positive effects on collaborative performance while task ambiguity factor has not. However, the re has yet to be a clear agreement on how to reasonably calculate the total cost of such project. In this pa per, based on real project data and budget statistics, we develop a model to estimate the cost for quality analysis an d improvement project of a database. We first conduct statistical analysis to build our basic model. Throughout this analysis, we have identified factors that determine the scale of works required to conduct the project and eventually d etermine the cost. In addition, we have identified factors that determine the complexity of the project. These factors can adjusts the cost determined by the scale of works. Our model is verified and improved by surveys on experts. However, service innovation does not always guarantee the desired outcome. The effective organization and management of well-planned service innovation practices, which are consistent with the firm’s business environment, become a critical challenge for service innovation success. In addition, an increasing number of studies have focused on the role of information technology (IT) capability in service innovations. Most studies on service innovation have focused on the influences of the strategic alignment and IT capability separately. In contrast, the current study combines them by investigating the positive moderating effect of IT capability on the alignment between business strategy and service innovation strategy. Based on data collected from 183 service firms in Korea, we first explore the effect of service innovation strategies when coupled with different business strategies on better firm performance. We then investigate the moderating effect of IT capability on the relationship between strategic alignments and firm performance. Empirical evidence indicates that a synergistic effect between alignment and IT capability on firm performance exists.
