Recently, Cheng et al. pointed that the Wang et al.'s scheme is unable to withstand the forgery attack. They consequently proposed a novel version to resist the forgery attack. Although Cheng et al. claimed that their scheme is secure against all known attacks and more practical in application than other IC-card-based authentication schemes, in this paper, we show that Cheng et al. scheme is vulnerable to the guessing attack, parallel session attack and key-compromise attack. To remedy these flaws, this paper proposes an improvement over Cheng et al. scheme with more security.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124947353","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, they can be aligned into different levels, they are composed of a number of small components, and there are no word or sentence separating symbols. Noise reduction algorithms which are successfully applied to English documents might yield a poor result from Thai documents. This paper thus proposes a novel noise reduction method that is suitable for Thai documents using a semi-supervised learning approach. Results obtained from experiments shows that our method does not only obviously remove the noise but also preserve small components of Thai characters.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125797273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper provides a new approach for the design of substrate integrated waveguide power dividers based on a back-propagation neural network. The design of a 10GHz SIW power divider is presented, and we introduce a BP neural network to optimize the parameters. The results show that the neural network can help to optimize parameters and make the design more efficiently.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125869104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The presented meshless method is based on the integral form of energy equation for the sub-particles in the domain of the material. A micromechanical model based on the presented meshless method is presented for analysis of heat transfer, temperature distribution and steady-state effective thermal conductivities of fiber-matrix type of composite materials. Because the domain integration is eliminated in the presented meshless formulation, the computational efforts in presented method are decreased substantially. A small area of the composite system called the representative volume element (RVE) is considered as the solution domain. The fully bonded fiber-matrix interface is considered and contact thermal resistant is neglected in the fiber-matrix interface and so the continuity of temperature and reciprocity of heat flux is satisfied in the fiber-matrix interface. A direct interpolation method is employed for enforcement the appropriate boundary conditions to the RVE. Numerical results are presented for temperature distribution, heat flux and thermal conductivity. Numerical results show that presented meshless method is simple, effective, accurate and less costly method in micromechanical modeling of heat conduction in heterogeneous materials.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125916659","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Divarication between them demonstrates the immaturity of evaluation research to some extent. To resolve such divarication can't only rely on the surface reference and complement from each other, but explore the intrinsic problem of divarication, then we can get ride of constraints and re-building a brand-new evaluation model which really contains the merits of two mainstream ideologies. This paper attempts to achieve above subjects and suggest a natural-integration model of digital library evaluation. Images taken in the underwater environment are subject to water attenuation and particles in water's scattering, a phenomenon similar to the effect of heavy fog in the air. Using dark channel prior, the depth of the turbid water can be estimated by the assumption that most local patches in water-free images contain some pixels which have very low intensities in at least one color channel. In this way, the effect of turbid water can be removed and the original clarity of images can be unveiled. The results processed by this method are presented in the paper.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"77 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123269032","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This proposed algorithm is constructed by a linear combination of fixed-coefficient linear-phase filters, of which the variable bandwidth characteristics are provided by an embedded tuning parameter. Using the weighted least square objective function, the optimal solution is obtained by solving a set of linear equation, which is an error function reflecting the difference between the desired variable bandwidth filter and the practical filter. The proposed algorithm can implement the variable digital filter efficiently by the familiar Farrow structure with only one variable spectral parameter that determines the bandwidth. Mathematics deduction and simulations show this algorithm is simple and effective in designing FIR variable digital filter with better performance than previous ones.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123788638","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

So the research on large-scale systems, especially on the evolution complexity of large-scale systems, has received much widespread international attention and focus. In order to find a synergistic running state of any large-scale system to form the overall function and the greatest effect output, a large-scale systems' evolution control strategy aimed to the synergy of material flow, energy flow and information flow is presented. An innovative method is explored in this control strategy that a hard-based control based on Cybernetics and a soft control based on Synergetics and the theory of dissipative structure are combined with each other. Through the control method, the synergy of material flow, energy flow and information flow in large-scale systems can be achieved so that large-scale systems can spontaneously evolve from the disorder to the order and from the lower order to the higher order.","PeriodicalId":271757,"journal":{"name":"2010 2nd International Conference on Computer Engineering and Technology","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-04-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125287107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For vector graphics composed by linear entities, a fragile watermark algorithm was proposed, which was based on that the linear entities of vector graphics were divided into different groups, and watermark information was embedded in these groups. The extraction procedure not only verifies the integrity of the watermarked vector graphics, but also locates modification.
