In the Malaysian context, the number of government agencies certified by ISMS is still low and efforts to retain the certification have been challenging in the recent year. The goal of this study is to describe the success factors identified from the literature review regarding the implementation of ISMS in the selected government agencies in Malaysia. This study applied a qualitative approach, which includes semistructured interviews of nine key informants among Malaysian government technologists. A deductive thematic analysis on interviews transcript and qualitative scoring were used to describe the findings of the study. Of seven identified factors, top management and implementer commitment were revealed as the most critical components in the ISMS implementation in the context of the Malaysian government agency.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130208120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To continuously stay in business, businesses must manage their accounting efficiently. The study will investigate SME AIS adoption in Northern Ghana by critically evaluating different adoption models, as the SMEs are considered as the backbone of the Ghana's economy. Previous research data were gathered using popular educational databases. To collect data and generate research findings about the objective, direct content analysis and summative content analysis were used. According to the review, there have been very few previous studies on SMEs AIS adoption with a maximum dimension of three. They are either technology, organization or environment-based or human, organization, and technology-based. Combining the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) and Human-Organization-Technology (HOT-Fit) models yields the Human-Organization-Technology-Environment (HOTE) model. The HOTE model is a new model for SMEs AIS adoption in Ghana. This study fills a gap in the literature by broadening the range of factors influencing SMEs' adoption of AIS.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129970830","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It involves using Information Systems (IS) to create proper guidance for individuals and organisations to make better green sustainable decisions and work practices. Sadly, there were only a few studies on the adoption of GIS among manufacturers. This study aims to identify the factors affecting the GIS adoption among manufacturers and propose a GIS adoption model for manufacturing companies in Malaysia. The Belief-Action-Outcome model was used as the core theory for GIS adoption among manufacturers. Seventy-six valid surveys were received from manufacturers during the data collection. The data analysed using the partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) showed that pollution prevention practices and sustainable development practices are able to translate into beneficial environmental performance. Coercive pressure was found able to increase the GIS adoption. Managers who were concerned about the harmful effect on the environment were more likely to adopt GIS. The results revealed that having an environment strategy will positively influence the organisation's belief in GIS and ultimately led to sustainable IS practices.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131127488","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper intends to fill the gap by exploring the role of a sense of virtual community in the co-creation process. The method for data gathering used for this research includes content analysis and semi-structured interviews. We interviewed sellers and customers from a social commerce community. The findings show that both sellers and customers actively participated in co-creation activities due to their engagement in this community. Furthermore, their engagement with the co-creation activities is also influenced by their strong sense of virtual community, leading to strong social support. This study is expected to be significant for social commerce research and those who venture into this marketplace. It can give some ideas to the business on how to engage their potential customers to create and co-create value through online community participation.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134338114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While practicing social distancing and other pandemic regulations was for the betterment and prevention of physical health, mental health of most was affected negatively. People generally revolve around with having interactions with other humans and once the physical form of it was cut, people tend to turn to social media. A twitter sentiment analysis approach was used to find the casual link between social media and mental health. This project aims to utilise the broaden scope of social media-based mental health measures since research proves the evidence of a link between depression and specific linguistic features as well. Therefore, the research entails on how the problem statement of this project on developing an algorithm that can predict text- based depression symptoms using deep learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) can be achieved. The objective of the project is to identify depressive tweets using NLP and Deep Learning in the urban cities of Malaysia within the beginning of the Covid-19 period to enable individuals, their caregivers, parents, and even medical professionals to identify the linguistic clues that point towards to signs of mental health deterioration. Additionally, this paper also researches to make the proposed system to identify words that represent depression and categorize them accordingly as well as improve the accuracy of the system in identifying tweets that display the depression related words based on its specific location. This objective will be achieved following the methodology using the Deep Learning approach and Natural Language Processing technique. A recurrent neural network approach was implemented in this project known as the Long-Term Short Memory, which is a form of advanced RNN, that allows information to be preserved. Conducting an analysis on the linguistic indicators from tweets allows for a low-profile assessment that can supplement traditional services which then consequently would allow for a much earlier detection of depressive symptoms. Since this research entails on finding the link between tweets and machine learning's ability to detect depressive symptoms, the success this project brings forth a meaningful help towards those who are mentally affected but are unable to seek help or are unsure on diagnosing themselves as this project helps alert the government and psychologist on the need for it. The project thus far has an accuracy rate of 94%, along with, precision rate of 0.94, recall of 0.96 and an F1 score of 0.95.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114946620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Coined as Smart Healthcare, applications for integrated health services has been an integral part of focus for the Smart City initiative globally. Nevertheless, contextualization for a complete definition for Smart Healthcare is still very much obscure. In view of this gap, we conducted a comprehensive examination on the definition of Smart Healthcare via a meta-analysis procedure through systematic review of literatures from: (1) Definitions proposed from literary sources and (2) Smart City frameworks. The goal of this paper is not only to provide a closure for Smart Healthcare but also to provide a unified guideline for developers as well as governments in achieving their Smart Healthcare initiatives.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128296204","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pervasive tools have been employed in the educational purposes by a number of researchers and proved that the utilization of pervasive tools is reported as pervasive, persistent, allow students to access to education in flexible way. Student are able to access to relevant educational materials and are enhanced by context-aware applications. However, previous studies of literature have placed little emphasis on students' acceptance of pervasive tools in Malaysia higher education. Understanding the factors played a huge part in determining the factors of technology adoption. The advancements in technology itself cannot make sure that pervasive tools can be widely accepted by students. As a result, it is essential to investigate the reasons for acceptance or rejection of technology. This goal of this study was to combine TAM and TTF and included external factors in examining the behavioral intention of students to use pervasive tools in Malaysia private university. The preliminary analysis of this study has adopted quantitative research methods and showed the reliability of the proposed constructs of TAM and TTF of the proposed model. Pilot test results implies students' positive affects where students tend to adopt pervasive tools in the learning process. Actual data collection will be implemented to further validate the findings from the pilot test.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121963339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Medicine management can significantly reduce medical errors as it is a scientific proof-based approach to prescribe and manage the patient's medicines to protect the safety, tolerability, and potential of the medication. It helps practitioners to achieve the optimum use of medicines for a patient and optimizes the treatment's benefits that offer and accomplish the best results for each patient. The espousal rate of Health Information System (HIS) in Malaysian public hospital are very low, and the current implemented HIS are not integrated. After analyzing the current HIS, this study has proposed an Integrated Medicine Management System (IMMS) to optimize the Malaysian HIS. IMMS enables the healthcare professional to prescribe the medicine while prescribing if IMMS finds any medicine-related issue i.e. drug-drug interaction, drug-disease interaction, inappropriate drug-dosage according to patient type IMMS will show the alert on the prescriber's screen. In case of no issue in prescription, it will save as patient medication history and will show on the pharmacy's screen as a medication order with cautions, side effects, and the location where the prescribed medicine is located in the pharmacy. IMMS provides the centralization of patient data it enables the facility of integration of healthcare centers nationwide. So, the proposed system can help to optimize the Malaysian HIS. The proposed system is evaluated with a survey 95% of respondents (healthcare professionals) are agree that the IMMS is helpful to decrease the possibility of medicine errors.","PeriodicalId":269873,"journal":{"name":"2021 7th International Conference on Research and Innovation in Information Systems (ICRIIS)","volume":null,"pages":null},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-10-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131116814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
