Due to lack of literature on SCM strategies in Morocco, we seek to study Moroccan firm's strategies in SCM using qualitative approach. This paper aims to offer understanding of the role of logistics in Moroccan companies. Thus, we have carried out a survey targeting several sectors considered as the most representative in Moroccan economy, in order to analyze their logistics function and to specify the degree of its importance in their strategic plans.","PeriodicalId":269509,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Logistics and Transport","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122243075","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main new idea is to assure the compatibility between product type and vehicle in order to satisfy transport conditions required. This problem can be defined as a Load-Specific problem. The main objective is to gain customer satisfaction by providing the right demand on time and on a good stat. Their objective is to take into account the sociotechnical system composed of \"risks associated with transportation” on a larger scale. Given this context, it is necessary to go beyond the specific analysis of black dots and run a broader geographical analysis of traffic accidents, in connection with the development of the city. The objective here is to identify a combination of factors that produce dangerous situations and, in particular, to seek the structural causes of these accidents (infrastructure, urban environments, the distribution of functional areas that control the flow, etc.). The research presented here aims specifically to analyze traffic accidents linked to the characteristics of the daily mobility of people across the Urban Community of Lille (LMCU). Household Commute Surveys (EMD) conducted within local authorities provide valuable information on the mobility of people, but the accurate mapping of mobility alongside traffic accidents is hard to achieve. The approach seeks, first and foremost, to describe and map the areas of mobility in order to highlight the areas supporting many flows, and those that send or receive those flows, in accordance with the means and reasons for travel so as to examine the resulting accidents. Secondly, modeling flows on road networks must include the characteristics of the patterns of activity/travel of the households involved. Enquiries on accidents meeting various criteria can then be carried out within the qualified networks.","PeriodicalId":269509,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Logistics and Transport","volume":"107 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122902249","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular intelligent planning techniques have shown potential in controlling robotic fields thanks to their stability of treatment and their ability to approximate nonlinear and complex functions. In this paper, we present a path planning algorithm that allows wheeled robot to explore unknown environment. The robot would avoid collision and follow the best and shortest path towards it target. Our approach consists of developing localization algorithm for the robot in Cartesian frame, we define the position of robot for making the robot autonomous and able to predict its position regarding to the goal. Theoretical results of developed algorithm are used to generate the desirable properties of intelligent techniques and neural network has been viewed as a powerful alternative to implementation of mathematical problem. We use tow recurrent neural networks connected in series for intelligent navigation of the robot.","PeriodicalId":269509,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Logistics and Transport","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114320781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To do this, in this paper we present an approach for tracking and tracing flows of supply chain. Thus, we propose a data modeling for product traceability in the context of overall supply chain. Then, we present our approach to the integration of our traceability data based on the concept of semantic web services. Computer micro simulation modeling is used to determine the performance and fuel consumption of Toyota Prius vehicle. In this work, we have developed a micro-simulation tool which integrates microscopic models of energy consumption. First, we start by modeling microscopic behavior of vehicles where we use two microscopic models: the linear model for longitudinal moving and MOBIL (Minimizing Overall Braking Induced by Lane Changes) for lateral displacement in order to generate a real driving cycle which respects microscopic models rules. Then we implement two energy-consumption models which calculate energy consumption of the REV (hybrid electric vehicle) Toyota Prius vehicle and classical vehicle. The principal purposes are studying the hybridization's effects on fuel consumption for a real driving cycle.","PeriodicalId":269509,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Logistics and Transport","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127288006","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper describes a query analysis process that manages textual and visual queries. The main idea is to select the most appropriate concepts. For the textual part, we extract keywords. Then, we deduce the most relevant concepts related to such keyword by performing a semantic similarity computing based on ontology structure. A similar process is carried out on the visual part based on the associated annotation. The concept set deduced from each part are then merged. Finally, based on a semantic inter-concept graph, we attempt to refine the query by expanding or reweighting the concepts list. Our approach is evaluated in ImagCLEF2012 benchmark. The experiments show encouraging results.","PeriodicalId":269509,"journal":{"name":"2013 International Conference on Advanced Logistics and Transport","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-05-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129720331","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
