Libraries play an important role in preserving knowledge and culture, therefore, a clear collection development policy that involves all relevant parties is very necessary. The research uses descriptive methods to provide a detailed picture of the process and challenges in collection development.The research results show that library needs analysis is carried out regularly through surveys to ensure collections cover various age groups and information needs. Library material selection policies are influenced by the budget prepared by the government and additional sources such as grants. Selection of library materials is carried out annually based on a survey of library needs with references from publisher catalogues, the internet and reviews. The procurement process involves the stages of selection, purchasing and processing of library materials using the Inlislite system. Weeding is carried out to maintain the relevance and quality of the collection, although limited funds are an obstacle in this process. Collection eval_uation is carried out to ensure the relevance and physical condition of library materials.In conclusion, library collection development must consider budget, user needs, and relevance of information to ensure the collection remains high quality and useful. This development, particularly in urban areas, has led to increased land demand and the repurposing of public spaces. Lumajang Regency in East Java Province, known for its tourism and mining potential, has experienced substantial population growth, with a 9.37% increase between 2018 and 2022, according to the Central Statistics Agency. This growth has heightened the need for adequate infrastructure, including parking facilities. This study investigates the local government's policy on the repurposing of road shoulders for parking in Lumajang Regency. Employing a normative legal research method, the study examines relevant laws and regulations, including primary legal materials such as the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, Law No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation, and specific local regulations in Lumajang Regency. The findings indicate that the unauthorized use of road shoulders as parking spaces, especially on Jalan Jend. S. Parman and Jalan Alun-Alun Utara, has caused significant inconvenience and traffic congestion. The study emphasizes the need for proper implementation of parking regulations, including the installation of appropriate signage and road markings, as required by law. This company is one of the most developed companies in Indonesia, including in the city of Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This is indicated by the increasing number of branch offices and UPCs on the island of Sumbawa which are very easy to find. PT. Pegadaian continues to innovate pawn products to attract consumers and increase company profits. In line with this, the number of consumers has also increased drastically because of the various conveniences offered by PT. Pegadaian with the slogan \"Solving problems without problems\". This research aims to find out the role of the Pegadaian Digital Service (PDS) application in facilitating millennial transactions and services at Pt Pegadaian Sumbawa. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method based on primary and secondary data and uses data collection techniques: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data was analyzed interactively using steps, namely data reduction and data validity. Therefore, this study aims to describe how the utilization of Twitter's \"X\" trending topic feature fulfills the information needs among students of the Library and Information Science major at Universitas Negeri Padang. This research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The research sample consists of 80 students from the Library and Information Science major, with data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents according to the research criteria. Based on the data, the study found that the utilization of Twitter's \"X\" trending topic feature among students of the Library and Information Science major at Universitas Negeri Padang is categorized as good, falling within the interval scale of 3.41 – 4.20. Additionally, the fulfillment of information needs among students of the Library and Information Science major through the utilization of Twitter's \"X\" trending topic feature is also categorized as good, within the same interval scale of 3.41 – 4.20. In the educational context, the use of AI promises a fundamental transformation in the way we teach and learn. However, despite AI's enormous potential to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of education, there are a number of challenges that need to be overcome. The purpose of this research is to provide readers with the view that apart from the many positive sides of AI, there are also negative sides. This research focuses on the negative side of using AI in the education sector. The method used is library research. However, if managed wisely, the use of AI in education can provide significant benefits. For example, AI can be used to personalize learning, enabling teaching tailored to each student's individual needs. Additionally, AI can help in automated grading, freeing up teachers' time to focus on direct interactions with students. By considering existing challenges and exploiting the opportunities offered by AI, education can make significant progress in improving its quality and accessibility.
