A systematic literature review was the main research method. A sample of conference proceeding papers was formed from the IEEE Xplore Digital Library database. The core results show that mathematical modeling was the scientific method most applied by authors in literature. Logistics outsourcing was the primary topic, also identified as the central type of risk. Risk ranking indexes were employed as the main logistics risk measures. Multi-criteria methods, for instance, Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation and AHP were the focal tools applied, especially in the risk assessment phase. As a future research direction we suggest the combined use of simulation-based optimization to support the logistics risk management.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121448686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The model with planned real-life problems is a way to develop among students their ability to design real-life solutions. A flexible mode for seafarers was seen as a potential model for learning while seafarers are deployed at sea which could be done online, or through offline/face-to-face if they are on land. In the developed framework, an equal emphasis was given to interactions between students and students, students and teachers, and students and content. The developed model is an answer to the demand for seafarers for career development through higher education and also to ensure the organizations of efficient operations from their employees. Descriptive and quantitative methods were used in the data gathered from models of distance education in the Philippines and abroad. Faculty- and student-respondents were those potential communicators in the flexible type of education, and they were determined as to their communication practices in a traditional classroom setting and with the utilization of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs). The results show how adept the respondents are when it comes to communication and use of ICT which can enhance the learning activities of students and effectively deliver quality education despite the challenges of communicating at sea. Seafarers and shipping companies are not to be limited with opportunities of enhancing their skills because of the nature of their work.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"560 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116448074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Cancer is a complex disease with many complicated care requirements and there is an urgent need to improve the cost and clinical effectiveness of cancer care pathways. Process mining of the e-health records of cancer patients may play an important future role and this paper presents a literature review of process mining in oncology as a contribution to this research. The search produced 758 articles which were manually reviewed by title, abstract, and full paper text review to develop the original pool of papers. An in-depth ancestor search was used to gather additional articles from the references of the original pool. These steps resulted in 37 papers. Through a thematic review process, the papers were analysed and five themes emerged. These were: 1) process and data types; 2) research questions; 3) techniques, perspectives and tools; 4) methodologies; 5) limitations and future work. This review can: (i) highlight the potential value of process mining for improving cancer care processes (ii) provide a useful overview of the current work undertaken; (iii) help researchers to choose process mining algorithms, techniques, tools, methodologies and approaches; and (iv) identify research opportunities in this new field of study.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123649939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sensors are deployed in the network to monitor target area and sense information according to the applied application then send this information to the base station. Adversary can inject false information in the network or compromise the routing information between nodes or between nodes and base station. Thus make the wireless sensor network secure is considered a very important issue. This paper introduces an authentication protocol and simple key distributed scheme between sensor nodes. Node mobility has been taken into consideration and the work proposes a re-authentication protocol that is very efficient than the initial protocol.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"369 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124620783","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

First, the “low-high-low” distribution characteristics of the one-hop-delay among network nodes in different cities are revealed. The network connections in the IP targets' cities are obtained by partitioning the probe paths based on one-hop-delay. Secondly, the PoP-level network in these cities are analyzed by extracting closely connected network nodes, and PoP city-level location are determined by landmarks contained. Finally, the core routers in these PoPs are selected as the city core routers and used to achieve IP targets city-level geolocation. The experimental results on 4980 IP targets in Henan province of China show that: the average accuracy of the proposed approach is 97.2%, which is much higher than that of the existing typical city-level geolocation approaches based on IP databases or delay measurement. At the same time, some of the IP targets which are not reachable can also achieve a reliable city-level geolocation by this approach.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132451114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Even after several instances of therapy, there are not clear measures for a schizophrenia patient. Therefore, the decision is based on the expertise of the therapist or psychiatrist. Here, an innovative method was shown for evaluating responses of schizophrenia patients in a course of therapy and even different treatments. A parity decision task was proposed, where duration and mutual information of the different sounds were correlated with the electroencephalographic (EEG) measures of schizophrenia patients. The result was the design of a database system that is able to provide multiple-adapted comparison treatments in patients. Clinical test data recording was designed as well, which aims to be effective in creating a decision tool regarding the continuity of the therapy for a schizophrenia patient. No similar database design was found in the literature reviewed.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129277722","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The design deliberation data are managed separately, however, which has caused much trouble in the verification of the data and in the operation and management of the design deliberation system. This study was conducted to present development measures for the design deliberation information system through the computerization of data and the standardization of the existing design deliberation process. Through this study, the efficient management and utilization of design deliberation information becomes possible through the use of the online sharing design deliberation information between the deliberation officials, for improving the transparency of design deliberation work.","PeriodicalId":268061,"journal":{"name":"2016 6th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115288519","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
