Mineral deposits have been studied with in the prospective areas of Middle Eocene paleo valley and the irdigital models have been constructed, in particular maps: the surface relief and the solesof the productive strata; capacity deposit sofmineral sand the containing mineral deposit soflitho facies.Eocene river paleovalleys central part of the Ukrainian shield survived to this day in the form of winding lanes. The river valleys were not only ways of transporting the material to the board on its slopes and adjacent structures (Dnieper-Donets depression and PreBlacksea depression), but also the seat of various minerals, such as ilmenite, gold, secondary kaolin, refractory clay, brown coal. The evolution of river paleovalleys had a decisive influence on the configuration and placement of mineral deposits.","PeriodicalId":267946,"journal":{"name":"Mining Geology & Geoecology","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125397268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is proposed to analyze waste management trends using dimensionless coefficients (Krec, Kincin, Kland): recycling, incineration or landfill disposal. They are indicators of time dependence and represent a mathematical expression in the form: the ratio of recycled, incinerated or disposed volumes of waste to the volume of waste generated per year. The expediency of using the specific emission of pollutants' values for each pollutant and from each source of emission has been substantiated in general for production. It has been proven that such an approach allows the practical possibility of objective control over the actual emissions of pollutants and establishes a relationship between the amount of pollutant emitted and the activity or inaction associated with this ejection. It has been established that in recent years, the decline in coal mining has led to an unjustified increase in emissions of pollutants at many state-owned enterprises. It has been established that minimization of generating, reuse, recycling and recovery of waste is in no way reflected in the waste measures for the management mining industry waste, but it rather reflects a slowdown in measures to protect and preserve the environment. It has been proven that the main method used in Ukraine is the creation of dumps or storage facilities. Calculation of the operations ratio with waste (utilization, incineration, disposal) to the volume of formation of the latter showed that Krec is gradually decreasing, while Kland displays an active increase (by 1.5 times). It is concluded that the EU directives on waste management are not fully implemented (primarily, this concerns waste recycling); it is advisable to provide either the reuse of the mining waste, or the adding value - by converting waste into something else.","PeriodicalId":267946,"journal":{"name":"Mining Geology & Geoecology","volume":"155 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116596867","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The filtration properties of coal rocks change very significantly, even at small distances, depending on the fracture of the rocks. Mining disrupts not only the natural regime of groundwater circulation, but also the natural geochemical properties that lead to changes in the formation of the chemical composition of water determined for the appropriate depth. When building models of individual elements and chemical compounds of mine waters, it was found that their distribution is controlled by tectonic faults. The most dangerous for the environment is the area with slow water migration associated with the resistance of regional faults.","PeriodicalId":267946,"journal":{"name":"Mining Geology & Geoecology","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131768293","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
