Traditional ESB is not efficient enough for dynamical composition; and do not have the coordinative distributed execution feature, which can provide both effective and rapid service composition. This paper proposes a Coordinative Service Bus based Execution Platform at the basis of service coordination and service bus. Through creating Execution Binding Map (EBM), the platform uses a method of pre-binding optimal services to improve efficiency of service selecting and invoking. In addition, it uses a method of Multi-level Request Scheduling with Feedback to ensure the overall efficiency of the platform and to reduce the possibility of failure of partial services.","PeriodicalId":267128,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd IEEE International Conference on Broadband Network & Multimedia Technology","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128469255","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to this situation, the link management is presented as an important issue. This paper proposes a multihomed terminal based Dynamic Link Management Algorithm (DLMA), and introduces the basic principles and implement procedure of the algorithm. Moreover, the DLMA is used to compare with request-based and quantum-based methods. DLMA is a terminal based link management algorithm which can allocate and release the link resource according to the user requirement. The advantage is to reduce the overhead of link operation while fulfilling the user demand. By the experiment analysis, we evaluate the effectiveness of the DLMA.","PeriodicalId":267128,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd IEEE International Conference on Broadband Network & Multimedia Technology","volume":"2015 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127777325","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the proposed GWSOLA algorithm, we introduce the gain control into the standard WSOLA technique which could adjust the level of the audio segments for overlap and add in order to maintain the audio signal level consistent. We perform a time-scale modification (TSM) using a waveform similarity overlap-add (WSOLA) technique with gain control (GWSOLA) to reconstruct the audio signal of the lost frames. Our research shows that after introducing the gain control into the standard WSOLA technique, the quality of the reconstructed audio signal is higher than that of the standard WSOLA technique.","PeriodicalId":267128,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd IEEE International Conference on Broadband Network & Multimedia Technology","volume":"103 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128097362","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A new Call Admission Control (CAC) algorithm based on Inter-link Load Balance (ILLB) is proposed to avoid the Pseudo Congestion as well as to improve the network performance. This algorithm aims to balance the Uplink (UL) load and Downlink (DL) load of the heterogeneous networks. Simulation results show that the presented new CAC can decrease the blocking rate effectively compared with the traditional load balance (LB) algorithms.","PeriodicalId":267128,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd IEEE International Conference on Broadband Network & Multimedia Technology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130582146","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

By considering the SINR with HARQ combination and the transmission number, the effective throughput, i.e., the ratio of the bit number and the transmission number is calculated. Different from these adaptive schemes based on the rank or conditional number of the channel and these schemes based on received SINR, the proposed algorithm is independent of specific channel. A handover strategy is proposed based on region partition in heterogeneous networks. The core idea of the strategy is that the users are classified into four groups in terms of users' relative location in the heterogeneous networks. Different strategy can be taken when the handovers are triggered in different regions. The objective is to satisfy the service requirement and maintaining an appropriate load balance in different regions. The performance of the handover strategy is evaluated through simulation analysis.","PeriodicalId":267128,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd IEEE International Conference on Broadband Network & Multimedia Technology","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127092501","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
