The BaBar and BELLE experiments results for time dependent CP asymmetry are in good agreement with each other. The similar measurements for penguin dominated B meson decays may indicate the contribution from physics beyond Standard Model (SM). The first meaningful measurements of φ2 and φ3 angles of Cabibbo–Kobayashi–Maskawa (CKM) unitarity triangle (UT) are presented. The constraint on the position of the apex of the UT, obtained from these measurements allows a test of the CKM interpretation of CP violation in the SM.","PeriodicalId":264948,"journal":{"name":"Surveys in High Energy Physics","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122886148","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their small widths and the stability of the extracted masses lead us to conclude that these structures are genuine and may correspond to new exotic baryons. Several attempts to identify them, including the possible “missing baryons” approach, are discussed.","PeriodicalId":264948,"journal":{"name":"Surveys in High Energy Physics","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-11-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129907633","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Now all hopes in discovering new physics are concentrated on the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) experiment at CERN. LHC is planned to be launched in 2007. But in order to find something we have to know where to look, what sign we are supposed to search for. But unfortunately that sign will strongly depend on our choice of the point in the allowed parameter space. So in order to learn what point in the allowed parameter space is closer to reality we have to search for some new evidence. That evidence came to us from WMAP and EGRET collaborations. Results of those collaborations pointed out a small region in the MSSM parameter space. In this region m 1/2 is around 180 GeV m 0 is around 1400 Gev and tan β is around 50. The probable results for experiments at the LHC in that point of the parameter space is quite different from that were expected before. We will analyze a possible outcome of the experiments in that region of the paramete...","PeriodicalId":264948,"journal":{"name":"Surveys in High Energy Physics","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117089558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Having in mind first of all accelerator experiments of the nearest future we concentrate on supersymmetry, a new symmetry that relates bosons and fermions, as the first target of experimental search. The motivation to introduce supersymmetry is discussed. The main notions of supersymmetry are introduced. The supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model—the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM)—is considered in more detail. Phenomenological features of the MSSM as well as possible experimental signatures of SUSY at hadron colliders are described.","PeriodicalId":264948,"journal":{"name":"Surveys in High Energy Physics","volume":"164 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2004-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127415482","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Analyzing the one-loop potential it turns out that the phase transition is strongly first order in a wide range of the parameters. It is ensured not to wash out the net baryon number gained previously even for Higgs masses up to at least 170 GeV. In addition dimension-6 operators induce new sources of CP violation. Novel source terms which enhance the generated baryon asymmetry emerge in the transport equations. Use of such hierarchies for analysis of reflectionless potentials is substantiated from the physical point of view. An interdependence (based on Darboux transformations) between spectral characteristics of potentials–partners is determined, an uniqueness of its solution in result of use of boundary conditions is shown. A rule of construction of new reflectionless potentials on the basis of known one is corrected, its proof is proposed. At first time, a general solution for a superpotential W n+m (x) with an arbitrary number n+m in the studied hierarchy on the basis of only one known partial solution for the superpotential W n (x) with the selected number n is found. A general solution of a hierarchy of inverse power (reflectionless) potentials is obtained.
