The traffic flow is getting disrupted due to traffic jams, congestions, collisions, and various other hazards. As a result of this the average fuel consumption, travel time, and pollution level is rising at a faster rate. The average speed of travel for vehicles slows down, especially in urban areas. This paper proposed a mechanism (PFTM) that is based on the pre-processing of information on an additional node which is called a shortcut node for managing the vehicular flow data. For every vehicle data and road, information is processed by using this node and saved for future use. This information is used in the future to guide the vehicles to follow better routes. In this article, the proposed mechanism is compared with the existing mechanism NRR, DIVERT and RE-route. The results of PFTM outperform the existing solutions.","PeriodicalId":264094,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM)","volume":"77 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129189741","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper a literature review on the LCA for PCM incorporated building structures is presented to establish the extent of their environmental impacts. And also analyses whether the positive impacts of the operational phases outweigh the negative impacts from manufacturing and disposal phase of PCMs. The methodologies of LCA process according to the international standards and its application in impact assessment also discussed. From studies it has been found that they keep consistency in various stages and depend only on the scope and goal of the LCA processes. This study also suggests that PCMs are good Thermal Energy Storage (TES) components compared to conventional TES techniques.","PeriodicalId":264094,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126121496","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Capsule Networks (CapsNet) perform image classification by identifying the spatial location and orientation of features within the images. In this paper, a Multi-lane Capsule Neural Networks (MLCN) model is introduced that performs dynamic routing networks with dimensionally distinct parallel lanes, replacing the traditional pooling operations in Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). With the use of parallel capsules, feature orientation identification at any given part of the image is improved. The MLCN model has been studied in this paper using the X-ray images collected from patients tested for COVID-19 and its performance is evaluated using a number of metrics. It has been observed that the performance of the constructed CapsNet model achieved a testing accuracy of 96.8% with the F-1 score 97.19% performing better than the existing state-of-the-art models.","PeriodicalId":264094,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126699678","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As per Global Cancer Observatory, in 2020 this cancer alone was the reason for the death of more than 6.8 million women throughout the world. There is no single cause of breast cancer but it could be a combination of one's environment, one's genes and the way one lives her life. These breast tumors can be benign (non- cancerous) or malignant (potentially-cancerous). Therefore, it becomes essential to identify them properly for appropriate treatment. Although histopathology images are used to judge breast cancer, there is always a chance of human error. This paper aims to simplify the breast cancer classification process for everyone. We propose a deep learning based Convolutional Neural Network model to detect and classify the breast cancer using histopathology images. This method uses pretrained neural network DenseNet-201 for features extraction from the images, which then used to predict for classification. Our model reached an accuracy of 97.05%.","PeriodicalId":264094,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125240008","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This sensitizes researchers to explore the various cross-cutting concerns incorporated to handle the complexities of various domains of interest. One such thrust area is effort estimation in Agile-inspired software. Estimation has always been challenging in an Agile environment because of its requirement volatility. This paper introduces a critical review of state-of-the-art regression techniques to estimate the efforts of Agile projects. It can be concluded from the obtained results that ensemble estimation techniques outperformed single techniques of estimation. The data have been taken from various companies implementing Agile practices. Different regressors have been trained, tested, crossvalidated, and optimized to fill the actual and estimated effort gap. We have used six regression techniques in this paper, Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB), Decision Tree (DT), Linear Regressor (LR), Random Forest (RF), Adaptive Boosting (AdaBoost) and, Categorical boosting (CatBoost) regressors. Cat Boost regressor wins with the lowest Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) in comparison to other regressors.","PeriodicalId":264094,"journal":{"name":"2021 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Engineering and Management (ICIEM)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-04-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115477061","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
