For every pair of integers with l binary representations length, it is proved that the average joint hamming weight of its new five- element JSF is 0.333l. Besides, Lee et al proposed a point multiplication algorithm of elliptic curve over GF(2 mn ) with 10≤m≤20, in which Frobenius map was used to expand the integer k and each coefficient of the expansion is represented as a binary string. In this paper, with the application of the new five- element JSF to the coefficients, some variations of Lee et al's algorithm are proposed, and it can achieve a better performance with a few more storages.","PeriodicalId":263281,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134414685","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a combination of traditional holography and modern electronic technology. By the way of recording and processing the holographic image by digital method, it is not adopted the traditional holographic photographic way of chemical processing, so that the processing is simplified. It is also convenient to improve the quality of the image and to extract the needed information by digital image processing. In this paper, charged coupled device (CCD) has been applied to holographic interferometry combined with electrical addressable liquid crystal display (EALCD), which adds new content and method to the development and application of holography. On the basis of theory analysis, a new method that combined image plane hologram with doubleexposure holographic interferometry, and combined CCD with EALCD is used in three dimensional deformation measurements. By the advantages of MMAS in resolving the general assignment problem (GAP), the problem of data association was transformed into the problem of combination and optimization, and the ant colony algorithm was used to associate the measurements with features according to the joint compatible rule. At last, the presented algorithm was compared with other data association methods. The results obtained show the superiority of the presented method in data association of SLAM. It reduces computation cost efficiently on the condition of remaining certain correct associations, and it is an available method to deal with the problem on data association of SLAM.","PeriodicalId":263281,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134274854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although these methods are quite useful under specific conditions, they produce undesirable effects when denoising features of moderate to large amplitude and spatial extent, especially for the low S/N data. In this paper, a new method of de-noise in curvelet domain with non-linear thresholding is proposed: on the basis of curvelet multi-scale decomposition in good approximation of the curve variation characteristics, the author used non-linear threshold to address seismic data in curvelet domain. Through calculation of seismic data, we find out the method can suppress the random noise effectively while the effective wave can be maintained, the signal to noise ratio of the result is higher than the traditional method's. At the same time, it overcomes the drawback that the conventional filtering approach may affect the effective wave when suppressing noise.","PeriodicalId":263281,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134389530","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The spectral minutiae representation is a novel method to represent a minutiae set as a fixed-length feature vector, which is invariant to translation, and in which rotation and scaling become translations, so that they can be easily compensated for. These characteristics enable the combination of fingerprint recognition systems with template protection schemes that require as an input a fixed-length feature vector. However, the limited overlap of a fingerprint pair can reduce the performance of the spectral minutiae representation algorithm. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce the spectral representations of fingerprint minutiae subsets to cope with the limited overlap problem. In the experiment, we improve the recognition performance from 0.32% to 0.12% in equal error rate after applying the spectral representations of minutiae subsets algorithm.","PeriodicalId":263281,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"94 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131573960","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the cortical reduction or increase caused especially by thickness changes has not been well investigated. Recent advances in computational analysis provide new opportunities to use fully automatic techniques to measure cortical thickness, along with a method called voxel-based morphometry that enables an exploration of structural changes throughout the brain by applying statistical parametric mapping (SPM) to high-resolution MRI. In this paper, Laplacian method was used to estimate cortical thickness and the thickness maps were analyzed by SPM5. Comparison was performed between 14 survivors of mining disaster with PTSD and 11 survivors of the same event without PTSD. The results indicate that in the cingulate gyrus and temporal gyrus, the cortical thickness of survivors with PTSD is larger than those without PTSD.","PeriodicalId":263281,"journal":{"name":"2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-10-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126594911","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a Thin Line Power Increase (TLPI) stereo matching method used in high-precision three- dimensional visual measurement is designed. It's a coding and stereo matching method which combines the second power increases method, the step moving method, the difference shadow method, the progressive decrease method and the stereo matching method. Through the combination of the second power increases method and the step moving method, the projectile optical information can cover all the measured object space. Through the difference shadow method, the background interference of the measured space can be wiped off. Through the progressive decrease method, the searching range of the optical information can be narrowed; the speed and the precision of optical information matching will be improved. Through the stereo matching method, the three-dimensional coordinate of object can be calculated.
