High definition visible band FPAs are relatively inexpensive and abound in commercial cameras. However for other applications such as infra-red imaging, FPAs are still expensive due inherent limits on yield and fabrication processes. In such cases, digital super-resolution techniques have proven useful for enhancing resolution by combining multiple low resolution images with sub-pixel shifts [1]. However, such techniques cannot improve the spatial resolution much beyond a factor of two (or thereabouts) due to the nulls in the detector’s spatial frequency response.","PeriodicalId":263258,"journal":{"name":"Rundbrief Der Gi-fachgruppe 5.10 Informationssystem-architekturen","volume":"85 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-07-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117266713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
