{"title":"THE EFFECT OF FLIPPED WRITING LESSONS ON WRITING SKILLS AND WRITING SELF-EFFICAC","authors":"Mustafa Özgün Harmankaya","doi":"10.35826/ijetsar.689","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35826/ijetsar.689","url":null,"abstract":"Bu çalışmada ters yüz öğrenmeye dayalı yazma eğitimi uygulamalarının yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenen uluslararası öğrencilerin yazma becerilerine ve yazma öz yeterliklerine etkisini incelemek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu doğrultuda araştırmada nicel araştırma desenlerinden ön test-son test kontrol modelli yarı deneysel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılında bir devlet üniversitesinin dil öğretim merkezinde eğitim görmekte olan 28 uluslararası öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında öğrencileri deney ve kontrol gruplarına atamak amacıyla yazma becerisi sınavı uygulanmış, yazma başarısı bakımından birbirine denk iki grup oluşturulmuş ve gruplardan biri deney diğeri ise kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Deney grubunda B1 seviyesi boyunca (6 hafta) ters yüz öğrenmeye dayalı yazma eğitimi uygulamaları gerçekleştirilirken kontrol grubu, kurumun mevcut ders işleyiş planına ek olarak deney grubunun desteklendiği ek süre kadar yazma kulübü çalışmaları ile desteklenmiştir. Ön test ve son test uygulamalarında verilerin toplanması için “B1 Yazma Sınavı”, “Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçe Öğrenenler İçin B1 Düzeyi Yazma Becerisi Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı” ve “Türkçeyi İkinci Dil Olarak Öğrenen Yabancılar İçin Yazma Becerisi Öz Yeterlilik Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde bağımlı örneklem t-testi ve karışık ölçümler için ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ters yüz öğrenmeye dayalı yazma eğitimi uygulanan deney grubundaki öğrencilerin lehine yazma başarıları ile yazma öz yeterlik algılarının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde yükseldiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca yazma becerisinin alt boyutlarından düzenleme ve içerik, dil ve anlatım, kelime hazinesi boyutlarında; öz yeterlik algısının ise anlatım ve şekil boyutunda deney grubu lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir. Yazma becerisinin yazım ve dil bilgisi boyutu ile yazma öz yeterlik algısının dil bilgisi kurallarını kullanma boyutunda ise deney ve kontrol gruplarının ön test ve son test puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık belirlenememiştir.
