{"title":"THE EFFECT OF FLIPPED WRITING LESSONS ON WRITING SKILLS AND WRITING SELF-EFFICAC","authors":"Mustafa Özgün Harmankaya","doi":"10.35826/ijetsar.689","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35826/ijetsar.689","url":null,"abstract":"Bu çalıÅmada ters yüz öÄrenmeye dayalı yazma eÄitimi uygulamalarının yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öÄrenen uluslararası öÄrencilerin yazma becerilerine ve yazma öz yeterliklerine etkisini incelemek amaçlanmaktadır. Bu doÄrultuda araÅtırmada nicel araÅtırma desenlerinden ön test-son test kontrol modelli yarı deneysel araÅtırma deseni kullanılmıÅtır. AraÅtırmanın çalıÅma grubunu 2021-2022 eÄitim-öÄretim yılında bir devlet üniversitesinin dil öÄretim merkezinde eÄitim görmekte olan 28 uluslararası öÄrenci oluÅturmaktadır. AraÅtırma kapsamında öÄrencileri deney ve kontrol gruplarına atamak amacıyla yazma becerisi sınavı uygulanmıÅ, yazma baÅarısı bakımından birbirine denk iki grup oluÅturulmuÅ ve gruplardan biri deney diÄeri ise kontrol grubu olarak belirlenmiÅtir. Deney grubunda B1 seviyesi boyunca (6 hafta) ters yüz öÄrenmeye dayalı yazma eÄitimi uygulamaları gerçekleÅtirilirken kontrol grubu, kurumun mevcut ders iÅleyiÅ planına ek olarak deney grubunun desteklendiÄi ek süre kadar yazma kulübü çalıÅmaları ile desteklenmiÅtir. Ön test ve son test uygulamalarında verilerin toplanması için “B1 Yazma Sınavı”, “Yabancı Dil Olarak Türkçe ÖÄrenenler İçin B1 Düzeyi Yazma Becerisi Dereceli Puanlama Anahtarı” ve “Türkçeyi İkinci Dil Olarak ÖÄrenen Yabancılar İçin Yazma Becerisi Öz Yeterlilik ÖlçeÄi” kullanılmıÅtır. AraÅtırma kapsamında elde edilen verilerin analizinde baÄımlı örneklem t-testi ve karıÅık ölçümler için ANOVA testi kullanılmıÅtır. AraÅtırma sonucunda ters yüz öÄrenmeye dayalı yazma eÄitimi uygulanan deney grubundaki öÄrencilerin lehine yazma baÅarıları ile yazma öz yeterlik algılarının istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir Åekilde yükseldiÄi belirlenmiÅtir. Ayrıca yazma becerisinin alt boyutlarından düzenleme ve içerik, dil ve anlatım, kelime hazinesi boyutlarında; öz yeterlik algısının ise anlatım ve Åekil boyutunda deney grubu lehine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiÅtir. Yazma becerisinin yazım ve dil bilgisi boyutu ile yazma öz yeterlik algısının dil bilgisi kurallarını kullanma boyutunda ise deney ve kontrol gruplarının ön test ve son test puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık belirlenememiÅtir.
