The internet of things, image processing, and machine learning are evolving day by day. Many systems have been completely changed due to this evolve to achieve more accurate results. The attendance system is a typicalexample of this transition, starting from the traditional signature on a paper sheet to face recognition. This paper proposes a method of developing a comprehensive embedded class attendance systemusing facial recognition with controlling the door access. The system is based on Raspberry Pi thatruns Raspbian (Linux) Operating System installed on micro SD card. The Raspberry Pi Camera, as well as a 5-inch screen, are connected to the Raspberry Pi. By facing the camera, the camera will capture the image then pass it to the Raspberry Pi which is programmed to handle the face recognition by implementing the Local Binary Patterns algorithm LBPs. If the student’s input image matches withthetrained dataset image the prototype door will open using Servo Motor, then the attendance results will be stored in the MySQL database. The database is connected to Attendance Management Syste(AMS) web server, which makes the attendance results reachable to any online connected web browser.The system has 95{% accuracy with the dataset of 11 person images.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"290 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121959490","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The aim of this project is to design and develop an IoT device that is capable of monitoring human critical condition at industrial workplace. This device can help in giving forewarning to the person in charge about the surrounding of the worker if it is harmful for him/her. Besides, if the accident is already occurred, this device can help in reducing the time between the moment the accident happen and the moment the emergency care is taken to avoid any possible serious problem. This device uses several types of sensors to detect the surrounding temperature and air quality level, and movement of the user. The methods for developing this device is divided into three parts which is coding the microcontroller to accept the raw data, then connect the previous configuration with Wi-Fi module, and finally connect the whole previous data with web server, Thingspeak. The results succefully showed the reading from all sensors which include surrounding temperature, air quality level, normal and rotational acceleration, and emergency push button data. It is expected that this device can be one of the initiatives to help reducing the accidents rate in workplace especially in industrial area.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"178 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122313992","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These antennas are prone to being damaged at sufficiently high energy density due to their small footprint and low Tamman temperature. This paper proposes tungsten refractory plasmonic material based nano-antennas as an alternative gold nano-antennas: we show that the antennas can handle 300 times higher fluence than gold (Au) counterpart. In addition, it can achieve 7.22 higher magnitude of electric field intensity than gold antennas.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127872473","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Reduction of battery capacity was correlated against the movement speed of users. Three experimental scenarios were conducted for a patient moving at 1–3 km/h, 5–8 km/h, and 1–30 km/h. The real time data were taken from two multinode LoRa units at 10 different locational points with a time interval of 30 minutes. The experiment had 113 data iterations to determine percentage of battery capacity and RSSI level. It was found that the faster a patient is moving, the greater the capacity of the battery reduces.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"68 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130497502","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The comparison of four elements of BAVA array in both planes has been observed. Each element of an antenna printed on the glass-reinforced epoxy laminate material (FR4) with a thickness of 1.5mm and relative permittivity of 4.3. The dimension of every single element is 60.75mm $times$ 66mm approximately. The array elements of both planes almost cover the whole UWB frequency range with the reflection coefficient of −10dB. Based on the simulation results, the array elements in planar configuration showing good reflection and works well at 3.2GHz frequency while the configuration in h-plane the array elements works well at 7GHz of frequency. In planar configuration, the operating frequency of antenna elements is shifting as a result of the distance between inter elements which intensification in wavelength. The array elements in h-plane produce more gain up to 10.2 dB with good radiation patterns as compared to the planar plane. The antenna design and optimization development are verified using CST simulation software.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130792000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

VoIP allows us to make telephone calls over the Internet and include signaling, controlling and transport mechanisms. However, the speech quality is impairedby packet losses, which are common on wireless links, and by high transmission delays. The aimof this paper is to present a method to improve the speech quality for voice-over-internet protocol (VoIP). Since the performance of unreliable voice transmission (Voice over IP) over wireless links is measured not by the throughput but by the perceptual speech quality. In this scheme there three main elements of VoIP are signaling protocol, audio codec and transport layer play a big role in providing the best VoIP speech quality. The quality of speech is determinedusing the Mean Opinion Score (MOS) after the values of jitter and end-to-end delay has been measured. Thus, the best couple of audio codec and signaling protocol through the quality ofthe speech quality produced.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134269790","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study has been done by carried out investigation on attenuation copper cable itself in ideal conditions and cable bleeding. S-parameter for ideal conditions with distances in 100m, 200m and 300m is obtained. Besides that, the copper cable 200m has been tested in non-ideal conditions when it is bleeding conditions defined by 0. 3cm lengths of bleed. It is observed that at 18MHz the attenuation is increases while the increases of cable distance. Then, from S- parameter results it can been analyzed into RLCG model which is can represents into lumped-element circuit and also the performances maximum achievable bit rate. It is found significant effect on the cable bleeding for 200m with it performances in attenuation and achievable bit rate compared to ideal conditions.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121227938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The diagnosis of the skin disease requires a high level of expertise and accuracy for dermatologist, so computer aided skin disease diagnosis model is proposed to provide more objective and reliable solution. Many researches were done to help detect skin diseases like skin cancer and tumor skin. But the accurate recognition of the disease is extremely challenging due to the following reasons: low contrast between lesions and skin, visual similarity between Disease and non-Disease area, etc. This paper aims to detect skin disease from the skin image and to analyze this image by applying filter to remove noise or unwanted things, convert the image to grey to help in the processing and get the useful information. This help to give evidence for any type of skin disease and illustrate emergency orientation. Analysis result of this study can support doctor to help in initial diagnoses and to know the type of disease. That is compatible with skin and to avoid side effects.","PeriodicalId":260264,"journal":{"name":"2018 7th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering (ICCCE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116850150","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
