In order to get a metal from Earth, the process called mining are needed where it can harm our natural resources due to depletion of the area to be mined. If the process is not controlled, most of the areas on Earth will have huge excavation holes. So, people should be responsible to prevent this from happening to preserve the environment in a good quality by recycling the metal material. By metal recycling, it can save an energy and resources as it can reduce the demand for raw materials, hence maintain the natural resources for the future. The proposed automatic metal waste separation system is intended to ease the people to separate the waste material. Besides, it will make the metal recycling industry work easier because the metal waste is already isolated at garbage collection side. The purpose of the project is to design a system to separate the metal recyclable household waste automatically and record the data waste collected. There are total of four detectors used to separate the non-metal, steel, copper and aluminum metal waste. The average time used to complete metal separation process by using the proposed prototype is 14.5 seconds. This project includes a mechanical part, programming part and an electronic design. Optimization of IDEs are crucial to obtain high accuracy of measurement that associates with the biological cell activities. However, not much research studies the generation of electric field by the IDEs geometry especially in cellular application. In this work, theoretical modelling of IDEs was done by modelling the IDEs equivalent circuit consisting of 3 major components; double layer capacitance, CDL, solution capacitance, CSOL and solution resistance, RSOL. Simulation using MATLAB and COMSOL Multiphysics was done to study the effect of geometrical parameters (width of electrodes (W), spacing between electrodes (S) and total number of electrodes (N)) on the cut-off frequency (FLOW), solution resistance (RSOL) and the average electric field magnitude based on the equivalent circuit model. The simulation results show three main findings; lowest FLOW to be at the ratio of $a =$0.54 and $textbf{N}le $16, lowest RSOL at smaller a and higher N, and saturated electric field at $textbf{N}ge $ 18. In this paper, we have designed and fabricated a Cross-Slotted Ring Microstrip Patch Antenna and array at 2.4 GHz for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applications using Computer Simulation Technology, CST. The designed antenna consists of rectangular radiating patch on Rogers RT5880 substrate and is excited by using coaxial probe feeding technique. The cross- slotted ring has been designed on top of the radiating patch to improve bandwidth. The simulation and measurement results of the cross-slotted ring patch antenna are in close agreement with each other. The simulated and measured S-parameters shows -21dB and -15.6 dB at 2.4 GHz respectively. Then, the antenna has been formed into lx4 array in order to observe its beamforming capability. The special decoupling structure consists of three paperclip-shaped units periodically placed at the centre of the two narrow patches with the adjacent patches spacing of 0.1λ(λfree space frequency), providing the bandstop characteristic to keep out the strong mutual coupling between antenna elements. By using the proposed special bandgap structure, more than 36 dB mutual coupling reduction between microstrip antenna elements is achieved at the centre frequency 5.0 GHz without any resonant frequency shift. Note that inserting periodic paperclip-shaped structure could concentrate on strong power towards the particular side by changing current distribution and propagation direction, so the slight gain enhancement has been obtained by comparing to the antenna array without PPS structure. This paper investigates the performance of Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) Routing Protocol under video traffic over PHY IEEE 802.11g. A different scenarios of video streaming were used. On the other hands, not easy to achieve all statistical assumptions using these models, especially for certain areas. This paper presents rough regression model to handle the categorical data types with minimal assumptions. The proposed idea is address to solve the unclassified elements and decisive criteria in data sets. Moreover, the product attributes of Kompas newspaper are investigated and selected using rough-regression model. The result showed that three conditional attributes, namely, price, promotion, and location have positive effect to purchasing decision attribute. A microcontroller is programmed to control up to four home appliances via Bluetooth technology and transmit the received signal from sensor to user smartphone. Nowadays, there have been many commercials and research projects on smart homes but most of these products utilize remote control which have button on touch screen. In addition, there is also a need to give supporting system for people especially to the elderly, disabled, and increase their home security. Hence, we proposed a development of a wireless remote control for home gadgets which can be controlled with voice. This proposed system is expected to recognize human voice using voice reader android application to turn on and off home appliance. Another important feature developed in this project is on the detection of movement, using ultrasonic sensor, in which the signal is converted to message and forwarded to the mobile user via GSM module. The accuracy of the system is found to be above 95% and the electrical loads have been successfully controlled using voice command in controlling their home. In order for the system to work, it is necessary to power up Arduino Mega by 12V DC adaptor and connecting all AC power loads to the electricity. The model is far from accurately model the behavior of the device. A 2cm by 2 cm supercapacitor prototype based on Activated carbon as the active electrode material and NaOH as the electrolyte was fabricated. This prototype was characterized using Cyclic Voltammetry and Galvanostatic Charge Discharge to get the supercapacitor working potential window, capacitance and internal resistance. The device works up to 0.7V with capacitance of up to 1.6F and internal resistance as low as 190 Ohm was found for the prototype. Several equivalent circuit model of a supercapacitor was simulated to produce similar response of the prototype.
