Culturologically the most significant works of the modern composer of classical (elitist) and mass genres (film music, rock music, etc.) are analyzed, in which the techniques and methods of their interaction and dialogue are revealed. The conclusion is made about the free intercultural genre synthesis, which led to high, bright and original artistic results.","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"141 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134033990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ortega-y-Gasset, the greatest Spanish philosopher of the 20 th century, as a linguo-culturological phenomenon of modern times. Today’s world is developing at a breakneck speed, cultural values that have existed from immemorial time are either leveled or disappear with the same pace. Such concepts as “mass consciousness”, “dehumanization of art” “mass culture” and “revolt of the masses” in the context of the increasingly accelerating process of consumption society globalization becomes an extremely important and urgent problem in finding the genuine linguistic and cultural identity, as well as cultural and historical prospects for further development of modern civilization.","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133003836","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main trajectory of this tradition is seen as a movement from myth, impressions, illusions of B. Russell, H. Wells, Gareth Jones, poets W.H. Auden and Hugh MacDiarmid to the revelations of Pamela Travers, Malcolm Muggeridge and later - to contemporary historians and writers Robert Conquest, Robert Service, Orlando Figes, Helen Rappaport, Simon Sebag Montefiore, Catherine Merridale, who base their works on archival research and explore the ambivalent phenomenon of Lenin’s personality: his rationalism, coldness, ruthlessness, cynicism, focus on theory, lack of interest in life, power hunger and propensity to repressions. British scholars convincingly show that this outstanding politician negatively influenced the course of history, he did incredible harm to Russia, which, in their opinion, he didn’t like. And he ended tragically like the majority of dictators: the revolution he spawned consumed him - being ill, he was isolated by his “successor” Stalin in a country house Gorky near Moscow. And then, against his will, he was not interred in Volkovo cemetery, next to his mother, but was doomed, like a vampire, to “eternal immortality” and the remains of his body are still tortured by regular mummification.","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125742114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A distinction is made between a «book» and a «digest». The historical and cultural origins of the formation of the «digest» as a form of representation of self-consciousness are revealed. For this purpose, collections by D.S. Merezhkovsky, V.V. Rozanov, the publication activity of P.P. Pertsova are used. As a digest, the «Visiting Musician» by Bulat Okudzhava is analyzed. Analytical procedures are performed on the basis of hermeneutics, involving such concepts as self-consciousness, subjectivity, time, and the author’s personality. Features of subjectivity are manifested in autobiography, assessments of historical events and private life. It is noted that the narrative identity is provided by the personality of the author. The self-consciousness functions as the identity of the author in the changing life, and also provides the narrative of the actual story.","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121858982","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These traditions are particularly noticeable in the Northern regions of Spain, especially in Galicia, the Basque Country and Cantabria. It is believed that it is in this part of Spain that the ideas of the ancient inhabitants of the Iberian Peninsula are layered with Celtic and Gothic beliefs, as well as Christian traditions. The element of water relates, first of all, to the idea of purification from negative influence and transformation. Rituals associ-ated with water can change a person's life, fill it, help cope with many prob-lems, but can awaken secret feelings and emotions. Water magic turns out to be associated with cruelty and murder, a violent transition to the other world. The secrecy and ritual attract authors of detective novels and magi-cal genres. On the other hand, the inclusion of such elements in a literary work helps to show the identity and originality of the region, promote local names, not only place names, but also dialect names of objects, all this at-tracts the reader with its uniqueness, and, more broadly, provides attention to the history and culture of not only Spain as a whole, but also its indi-vidual regions.","PeriodicalId":256945,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Culturology","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129682345","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
