An example is process mining, a discipline that emerged in the last decade and has process-centric view on data science. Process mining uses real event data in the form of event logs, generated usually from extracted event data of Process-Aware Information Systems (PAIS), in order to automatically construct business process models, compare them with an event log of the same process and improve existing process models, therefore, bridging the gap between process model analysis and data-oriented analysis. One of the main challenges of process mining, identified by the IEEE Task Force on Process Mining, is the lack of representative benchmarks and the consensus on process mining project methodology. In this paper, based on the comparison of two most prominent process mining tools, against their technical and performance features, a solution for conducting discovery and enhancement types of process mining, alongside with social network mining is presented. Furthermore, provided case study applies proposed solution on publicly available manufacturing event log extracted from ERP system, performed in both ProM and Disco process mining tools and presents the discovered process model, social network and detected problems.","PeriodicalId":256922,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"192 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115727200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Imbalanced learning is part of many real-world applications and it is a very vivid research area. Moreover, bankruptcy prediction, even though it is one of the most popular prediction applications, is still not successfully solved. In this paper, we present a comparison of several ensemble machine learning methods applied on a recently acquired dataset of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the Slovak Republic. The highest achieved prediction accuracy of the proposed classification models, measured by geometric mean, is in some cases almost 100%. Results are validated on three datasets from different business areas, namely agriculture, construction and retails.","PeriodicalId":256922,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131225677","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the key steps to desired reliability is to perform continuous monitoring and diagnosing of a system state. A standard approach to technical diagnostic infers a diagnostic model. However, the complexity of a storage system and the lack of a common diagnostic methodology pose a challenge in creating such a model. This paper presents an ontology-based approach to diagnosing of a storage system, which integrates an expert knowledge of diagnostic parameters, typical storage configurations and common failure modes. An implementation of the approach is presented, as well as considerations of the benefits and limitations of the ontology-based diagnostic model.","PeriodicalId":256922,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"14 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126120498","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper summarizes the previous work towards a transfer concept, introduces research categories and according statements, and presents the evaluation of the three so far addressed use cases, namely road background segmentation, crosswalk, and lane detection. Based on a literature review, it is stated that ADAS and ASVI are similarly composed and that there is an overlap in use cases addressed in ADAS and needed in ASVI. The conduction and evaluation of a qualitative interview study makes it possible to determine the exact overlap: Lane, crosswalk, traffic sign, traffic light (state), (driving) vehicle, obstacle, and bicycle detection. Additionally, road background segmentation is considered. For every of these use cases, it has to be established if an adaptation is possible and leads to similar hit rates as the underlying algorithm. This is confirmed for the so far addressed use cases. The hit rates on the tested data are 99.87 % for road background segmentation, 98.64 % for crosswalk, and 97.89 % for lane detection. In the future, the remaining use cases will be examined and the findings will be summarized in a transfer concept.","PeriodicalId":256922,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123743361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In these cases the use of the completely data-driven, “model-free; approach is not exclusively advantageous, since the a priori information encoded in the available model can be utilized, too. The consequences of the modeling imprecisions can be compensated by the use of either robust or adaptive techniques. The prevailing adaptive approach uses Lyapunov functions that often need complete state estimation that in the lack of the necessary sensors- cannot be executed because of missing information. An alternative approach transformed the control task into a fixed point iteration that can be solved real-time without the need of complete state estimation. It is a mathematical framework based on Banach’s fixed point theorem, and it can be realized by the combination of various components. A solution to multiple variable system was recently published. In the present paper this method is used for single input - single output systems by applying it to shorter time series of the state variable. This structure allows the application of a simple noise filtering technique that is investigated by numerical simulations in the case of the adaptive control of a nonlinear paradigm also containing delay in its model. The results support the idea that this simple noise filtering technique can be useful.","PeriodicalId":256922,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133244448","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The common is that they all use, as base of the system, Artificial Intelligence. The reaction time would be reduced by the power of AI, that can process the huge amount of data coming from sensors and with the information regarding the situation could make decision much faster than men. There is no perfectly secured system, there will be no hundred percent safe solution for self-driven cars either. The aim of this paper is to discuss situations and scenarios when artificial intelligence of vehicles could be confused or influenced to make bad decisions danger on passengers’ lives and show how can we decrease the danger.","PeriodicalId":256922,"journal":{"name":"2019 IEEE 17th International Symposium on Intelligent Systems and Informatics (SISY)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131718974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
