A new analytic method of parameter identification was introduced. Parameter estimation is based on the data received from the closed-loop step response using proportional controller. With the usage of Lambert W function for the chosen proportional gain as well as the received gain of the first-order plus time delay model, the time constant and the time delay are received by solving the transcendental characteristic system equation. One of the new methods is difference sampling query strategy. This strategy calculates a novel difference list and the elements of this list are then able to influence the uncertainty measure of the appropriate unlabelled instance. By taking the ratio of these measures a new informativeness metric is defined, and the aim of the difference sampling strategy is to minimize this ratio. Besides that, expected difference change query strategy was developed using a new metric, the global difference metric for each step. This strategy combines expected model change and uncertainty sampling strategies by taking the expectation of the difference of uncertainty values. The aim of this combined strategy is to query the instance that will most likely result the greatest change in global difference of the next step. This constitutes a case study in theory exploration and automated synthesis of algorithms based on natural style proofs, which allows to investigate the heuristics of theory construction on multiple types, as well as the natural style inferences and strategies for constructing human readable proofs. It is called Velocity Lane-keeping (VLK) method because it is an extension of the well-known Velocity Obstacles (VO) method. The goal of the novel algorithm is to select a velocity vector, such that the robot does not leave the lane if collision-free motion is available. Another goal is that the robot has to reach the desired position. The algorithm calculates the velocity and the path profile only for the robot, the obstacles’ velocities are supposed to be known (or measurable) at every sampling time. The robot has to execute the motion to the goal position even if there are not only static but also moving obstacles in the workspace. The VLK method can be extended with a cost function resulting an effective target reaching method for the mobile robot in the lane. System and model uncertainties play a key role in model-based investigation of reliability of systems with complex interconnections such as vehicle sensory networks. This paper proposes a matrix algebraic approach interval analysis method to investigate uncertainty of BSSs’ reliability. The uncertainty intervals of system reliability can be determined by the proposed method. The aim of this research is to identify problems in the employers’ circle when it comes to hiring fresh graduates. The educational system is critical to information about the needs of employers in order to adapt educational programs to the needs of the labor market, to formulate learning outcomes in education programs and define occupational standards. The focus is on key competencies of candidates that are indispensable in today’s labor market. The paper will show: what are the expectations of companies that actively seek workers? What are the priority competencies? Is there a scale of expected competencies? We want to find out how participants in the labor market are thinking about cooperation with educational institutions and which concrete ways of cooperation are considered effective in terms of training. What is the relationship between business and institutional education in defining and developing competency requirements? We proceed from the assumption that key skills create the competitive advantage of graduates because they talk about how they use their expertise. Even if amorphous ribbons or even thinner metal strips can possibly give better magnetic performance than crystalline electrical sheets currently used in electric motors, they are considered unsuitable to build the stator of E-motors due to limitations on fabrication technology. However, Fe based amorphous materials are excellent candidates to further improve the efficiency, but in order to use these materials in the stator or rotor of E-motor, additional issues must be addressed. Such issues are for example cutting the amorphous ribbon into the appropriate shape, or avoiding local degradation (like crystallization) of the processed element.
