Multicast routing can be effectively performed if the spectrum is always accessible to the network. However, the time-variant dynamic primary users (PUs) activities, spectrum heterogeneity across the multi-hop CR network (CRN), and the PU's access priority complicate the task of designing efficient CR-based Multicast routing algorithms. This paper presents a hierarchical multicast routing algorithm for multi-hop CRNs that utilizes the shortest path tree (SPT) concept. The proposed mechanism employs the packet success probability metric to perform the channel assignment over each defined layer in the SPT. The most reliable channel over each layer is utilized to deliver the multicast transmission. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is investigated through simulations. Compared to baseline algorithms, the proposed algorithm reveals significant performance improvement in throughput and packet delivery rate (PDR) under different operating scenarios.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"50 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116717680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This task is usually facilitated by the accurate Three-Dimensional (3-D) structure of the protein. This paper was carried out to investigate and compare the most suitable software online tools for homology modeling of protein structure by obtaining few samples of proteins. Different length, known and unknown (3-D) proteins structures of bacteria, and viruses were obtained from Uniprot which do not have a Protein Data Bank Identifier (PDB ID). This paper used several tools, such CPHmodels-3.2, Phyre2, Swiss- Model, (PS)2-v2, and Robetta, for predicting, comparison and model generation, where CPHmodels-3.2 and Phyre2 Server, gave relatively better values. Proteins (3-D) structure was evaluated using PROSESS Server and the better evaluation to proteins structure was for the Phyre2 software online tool.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129217453","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, statistical prediction models contain small number of important predictors, which means limited informative capability. Also, predictive statistical models that provide some type of pseudo-correct regular statistical patterns, are used without previous understanding of the used data causality. Machine Learning (ML) algorithms as area in Artificial Intelligence (AI) provide the ability to interpret and understand data in more sophisticated way. Artificial Neural Networks as kind of ML methods use non-linear algorithms, considering links and associations between parameters, while statistical use one-step-ahead linear processes to improve only short-term prediction's accuracy by minimizing cost function. Disregarding that designing an optimal artificial neural network is very complex process, they are considered as potential solution for overcoming main flaws of statistical prediction models. However, they will not automatically improve predictions accuracy, so several artificial neural networks and traditional statistical methods are evaluated and analyzed through accuracy measures for prediction purposes in various fields of applications. Based on gained results, couple of techniques for improving artificial neural networks are proposed to get better accuracy results than statistical predictive methods.","PeriodicalId":256713,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Arab Conference on Information Technology (ACIT)","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121484961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

E-learning is mostly dependent on technology; it necessitates the use of learning management systems that can be hosted on cloud computing platforms to provide alternative solutions to higher education institutions' inadequate infrastructure. In this paper, we proposed a new migration education model that can be used by educational institutions to migrate from the traditional e-learning system to the cloud-based e-learning system. The proposed model takes into account the education and e-learning education requirements to complete and plan for migration, the model divides the migration process into three phases namely, Pre-migration, migration, and post-migration. Finally, we consider in the education migration model several points that will be taken in the proposed model.
