However, its heterogeneity is often neglected, which prevents in-depth study of the pollution control effects of environmental regulation and accurate and scientific control of air pollution. This paper studies the heterogeneity of the impact of environmental regulation on air pollution based on the data from 110 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2011 to 2019. This includes pre-pollution environmental regulation, post-pollution environmental regulation, as well as the efficiency of controlling exhaust emission pollution and haze pollution. The study enhances the study of the impact of environmental regulation on air pollution. It is found that: (1) Environmental regulation presents a significant driving effect on the spatial transfer characteristics of air pollution, and pre-pollution environmental regulation is more effective in suppressing air pollution emissions. (2) The level of environmental regulation exhibits significant temporal and spatial stickiness, showing positive strategic interaction characteristics, and the degree of interaction of pre-pollution environmental regulation strategies is stronger. By studying the heterogeneity of the impact of environmental regulation on air pollution, this paper reveals the heterogeneity of environmental regulation for pollution control, including spatiotemporal heterogeneity and the impact of heterogeneous environmental regulation on different air pollutant types, which provides a reference for in-depth air pollution control in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.","PeriodicalId":255431,"journal":{"name":"Chinese Sustainable Development Review","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-09-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135469794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Microwave, as a clean and environmentally friendly green energy source, has developed rapidly in recent years. Unlike traditional heating methods, microwave heating generates heat through the random motion of polar molecules. This results in microwave heating having the advantages of selective heating, fast temperature rise, easy control and high heating efficiency. This allows microwaves to make a contribution in advancing the reform. of the energy mix. This paper investigates the use of microwave technology in different industries to save energy and reduce emissions. It finds that in the ironmaking industry, microwaves can speed up the reduction time of iron ore, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, while making iron ore more easier to crush and magnetically sort during iron ore pretreatment process. In the food industry, microwaves can reduce the time required to cook and dry, and maximise the retention of nutrients in food. In the field of waste recycling, microwaves reduce the volume of bottom radioactive waste in a shorter time and improve the efficiency of desulphurisation of waste rubber. In the Budur reaction, microwaves reduce the temperature required for the reaction and increase the conversion of carbon dioxide. After summarising the advantages of microwave technology, this paper also analyses the current shortcomings of microwave technology, introduces microwave-related patents and concludes with an outlook on the future of microwave technology.","PeriodicalId":255431,"journal":{"name":"Chinese Sustainable Development Review","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124252832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
