Because of a gap of communication between the public, community pharmacists, registered medical practitioners and health care professionals, regarding the safety and efficacy of Covid-19 vaccination. Hence a leaflet was designed in filling the gap of communication and to gain information about the psychology and opinion about the Covid-19 vaccination. The survey was done in the Gulf region. A sample (n = 500) was selected by systematic random sampling from the population of India, Iran, Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sudan. Questionnaires were used which were open-ended for asking information about the Covid-19 vaccination and comments on the same were noted. The present investigation survey suggested that subjects were having doubts about the safety and efficacy of the vaccine and had a number of questions in their mind regarding the same. Therefore, to overcome the fear of vaccination awareness camps should be organized by the health authority. Also, one should not give emphases on communication means for the adverse reaction and should attend such awareness camp for better knowledge.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115179620","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to break the chain of spread, social distancing is strictly followed as a norm. This paper demonstrates a system which is useful in monitoring public places like ATMs, malls and hospitals for any social distancing violations. With the help of this proposed system, it would be conveniently possible to monitor individuals whether they are maintaining the social distancing in the area under surveillance and also to alert the individuals as and when there is any violations from the predefined limits. The proposed deep learning technology based system can be installed for coverage within a certain limited distance. The algorithm could be implemented on the live images of CCTV cameras to perform the task. The simulated model uses deep learning algorithms with OpenCV library to estimate distance between the people in the frame, and a YOLO model trained on COCO dataset to identify people in the frame. The system has to be configured according to the location it is being installed at. By implementing the algorithm, the number of violations are reported based on the distance and set threshold. Number of violations reported are one and two for two real time images respectively. The red box highlighting the violations are displayed along with distance. Reporting efficiency and correctness were validated for more number of samples.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128331030","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Early-stage detection is beneficial to restrict the progress of disease and reduces the recovery expenditure. The current detection process of DR heavily depends on domain experts. Machine-dependent approaches are gain attention with large-scale fundus image repositories to overcome this difficulty. Recent techniques with deep learning are successful in getting noticeable results with pre-trained networks. However, the increase of memory occupancy and runtime with existing models is the bottleneck. We propose Binary Convolutional Neural Networks (BCNN), which drastically reduces memory consumption and faster the execution process to combat this problem. Our model is hardware friendly and efficient in DR classification with large scale fundus images. Experiments conducted using the Kaggle dataset reduce memory consumption by 37% and increase runtime by 49% compared to the base model.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133266499","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Biophotovoltaics depicts a relatively novel output in the field of research using the microbial system. The process of harvesting light energy and converting them to electrical energy by photosynthetic organisms is the basic mechanism of this technology. The crucial role is the extraction of electrons from the photosynthetic microbe followed by transfer to the anode. In this review, we are summarizing the significant properties of the biological photovoltaic system and the role of cyanobacteria as a key microbial model for the energy system. The types of BPV along with its light-harvesting sources and electron transfer mechanisms are extensively discussed. The variant species of cyanobacteria have been analyzed with different conditions of the anode, power system, and their consecutive efficiencies. The role of the redox mediator in enhancing the output by creating the redox homeostasis in autotrophs is another critical part of our study.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"89 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122500870","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These cause a high level of agricultural damage. In 2020, locusts have caused damages in many countries namely Kenya, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Eritrea, India, Iran, Yemen, Oman and Saudi Arabia. This year is not going as per anyone’s plan. It saw an outbreak of this swarm, which nearly destroyed 3.5 lakh hectare of crops in the regions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Crops of mustard, wheat and cumin were eaten up by them and thus causing great amount of losses to the farmer, so we have come up with a system that repel locust when exposed to ultrasonic frequency (more than 30 KHz this have been achieved by using basic electronics components and we have tried to make it cost effective for ground level implementation. This is going to help a lot of farmers which will save crores of rupees, this idea is going to be the foundation of upcoming electronic components made using this idea.","PeriodicalId":254711,"journal":{"name":"2021 International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Knowledge Economy (ICCIKE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-03-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115506108","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
