One of the key approaches in this area is REST (Fielding, 2000), which today coexists with other technologies, in particular GraphQL and gRPC. In this paper we focus on implementing REST-based web communication components using the latest version of C#/.NET SDK (.NET 8 LTS, released on 14.11.2023). In the first part, we discuss the concept of a RESTful network architecture and summarize the features which allow to define the communication style as RESTful. Next sections focus on C# implementation patterns specific for .NET such as minimal Web API and API controllers. Finally, a standardized approach for web API implementation in .NET based on Clean Architecture is discussed and tested. One of the main conclusions from this work is that the latest version of C#/.NET provides an attractive toolset for development of RESTful communication architectures, as it allows for efficient and well-structured implementation.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"38 3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141398797","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The instrument to achieve this goal is Scliar Early Literacy System (SSA), which contains the proposal foundations, the methodology, the instructions for applying the Units in the classroom, the reading and writing books for both teachers and students and the students' respective activity notebooks. This research goal is the teachers’ continuous training for improving young people and adult education, adopting a cutting-edge methodology, inspired by linguistic, neuroscience, neuropsychology, psycholinguistic and sociolinguistic advances. In this paper, I will deal with how to reach a qualitative leap in early literacy among young people and adults, changing the foundations that guide the mediator’s training, the methodology and the pedagogical material, from a perspective associating human and biological sciences. We cannot separate culture from the biological, from the brain, whose structure and functioning make its emergence possible.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"1979 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141400977","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A METABLETIC EXPLORATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCH","authors":"Wilfried Allaerts","doi":"10.57028/c57-105-z1060","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.57028/c57-105-z1060","url":null,"abstract":"This paper elaborates on the attempts in medical science to tackle complex or non-linear phenomena at the microscopic scale by a process of linearization. Questions of predictability and computability of stochastic phenomena are at the basis of the extrapolation of molecular interactions from the microscale to the macroscale of the cellular machinery and of the multicellular organism. The effects of this linearization procedure not only are observed in the handling of cellular processes in medicine, but also generate consequences at the population level in the organization of public health. The notion of dissipative structure thus is inferred at several levels of organization. This paper is centered around the discovery of the (messenger) RNA concept by the Brussels Rouge-Cloître Group, a discovery that played a key-role in the postwar developments of molecular biology and genomics, and consequently also in epidemiology and vaccine development. In the footsteps of the philosophy of Peter Sloterdijk, the conceptual framework of immunology not only is found to constitute a medical discipline, but it is also identified as a group-forming (neuro-) semantic mechanism. As such it forms a target in AI-generated networks. A final note is added to the need and urgency of limitations set to the exploitation of these semantic mechanisms, for the sake of human social cohesion.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"132 14","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141407968","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The report emphasizes graduates' continually high unemployment rates and the difficulties they experience in obtaining suitable work. The researchers want to solve this issue and produce practical and context-appropriate solutions by employing design thinking methodology. The article explores the stages of design thinking and their application to complicated issue solving. The study issue is concerned with how design thinking might be utilized to combat graduate unemployment in Palestine. The study's relevance stems from its ability to provide a unique strategy to addressing this issue and contribute to the knowledge and practice of problem-solving in the Palestinian market. The study incorporates a descriptive experimental technique as well as a variety of data gathering methods such as observation, interviews, and workshops. The findings highlight the significance of each step of design thinking and its ability to develop innovative solutions. According to the findings, design thinking may lead to new and effective solutions to unemployment and boost employability. The article finishes with proposals such as matching university majors to labor market demands, building an alumni database, including the government in job creation, and assuring equitable employment practices. To address the difficulties of graduate unemployment in Palestine, it is also proposed to improve educational programs, strengthen university-industry partnership, and develop complete solutions.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"18 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139014721","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From this perspective it is useful that one tries to make more and more aspects and forms of wisdom operational. In the past Wisdom received a lot of attention. The last decennia enormous efforts and investments was made on intelligence and AI. Scientific research and attention on wisdom was minimal. A lot of components of wisdom were elaborated in the Sumerian Mesopotamian cultures, in the Indian, Chinese, Persian, Greek, Roman, Islamic cultures… These components of wisdom have still a lot of relevance. The challenge is to search how this wisdom knowhow is still or again relevant ? How to translate these wisdom knowhow into our present cultures, technologies, customs, law, … Moreover it is important to search how and which aspects of the wisdom knowhow can be made operational in view of today challenges, needs, requirements… From the large set of historical wisdom approaches we overview the Sumerian conflict resolution, the Illeism wisdom approach, the traditional multidimensional intelligence aspects of wisdom and the Wisdom fractal frame (WFF) in view of an operational wisdom and AW approach. We make references also to lot of other traditional aspects of wisdom, about which we are confident, that future research on revival of these wisdom aspects will be fruitful for the development of science, culture, wellbeing and euculturalisation.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"305 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139021393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

What is the nature of this polarizing mechanism? In the present paper, we leave the essential dichotomization as expressed in the binary number system, as well as its transformation in computing theory, and dwell on the historic backgrounds and analogies of the notion of polarization in science, economy and the world of finance. The theory of ‘metabletics’ of J. H. van den Berg (1914-2012) was found helpful as a metaheuristic approach for reading divergent lines in historical sources. For, historiography in itself appears a much contaminated or fertile ground for ideological polarization. Ideological influencing of the masses is much older than the Internet, but may have reached an unprecedented degree to date, also thanks to the algorithmic construction of social networks. The rationale of this paper follows the illuminating torch of cracks into the world’s all-encompassing constructions, its economy, politics and make-believe-systems. A special moment is also reserved for the role of Fine Arts in this enlightening experience, seen from a philosophical-rather-than-aesthetical viewpoint.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125877640","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Fortuitously, it is in this field of language acquisition and language learning where proponents of both Universal Grammar and Usage-Based approaches have found space for discussion on a number of language contact phenomena. This dialogue parallels a similar coincidence in the study of literacy learning. On this point, a new proposal for research on second language learning and first language attrition appears to fundamentally redefine basic concepts in the field. This response counters that future research will be best served by continuing to apply current conceptions until the discussion of research findings presents a new framework. In addition, a better understanding of language attrition will benefit from an exchange among researchers who work within the framework of different theoretical models. In the end, the exchange will contribute to better understanding the concept of Language Faculty, beginning with an open-ended discussion.","PeriodicalId":254504,"journal":{"name":"Communication & Cognition","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124717711","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
