When they are moving together, they can form a mobile network. NEMO basic support was standardized to provide network mobility. As it does not define any solution for route optimization, it suffers from triangular routing. Optimized NEMO (ONEMO) is one of the proposed solution to solve this problem. In this paper, we study ONEMO in nested and multihomed mobile router (MR) configurations. One mechanism to select the best default router using policies is proposed. Information is needed to define policies in nested configurations: the nested level, and the connectivity provided by the root-MR. We propose to optimize an option of the router advertisement (RA) message to forward that information to the other MRs in the nested tree","PeriodicalId":254195,"journal":{"name":"2007 International Symposium on Applications and the Internet Workshops","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116949943","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is important for the young researcher, engineer and non-engineering user to consider the development of global network and inter-regional cooperation toward the issues. This activity will be engine for the advancement of the global Internet. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce several case examples for fostering of next generation peoples who will take a major role in development of the Internet. New sources of revenue for providers are expected to include tailored, personalized, and dynamically composed services that are fast to market, cost efficient, and provide compelling user experience. To meet these market needs, the SPICE service platform extends the IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) by supporting added-value services that are composed of more basic services. The platform is presented through the architecture and through scenarios showing the interactions between the platform and its service components. However, even in research terms MANEMO is in a very early stage of development and consequently no standardised understanding of what MANEMO specifically refers to has yet been decided upon. In this paper we introduce the MANEMO concept as a whole and identify what we believe to be the two main solution areas contained in the MANEMO problem domain, namely NEMO-centric MANEMO (NCM) and MANET-centric MANEMO (MCM). In addition to defining these two instances of MANEMO we also highlight the design decisions and implementation considerations that are encountered when developing an NCM protocol through the introduction of our NCM protocol implementation that we are currently producing at Lancaster University","PeriodicalId":254195,"journal":{"name":"2007 International Symposium on Applications and the Internet Workshops","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2007-01-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125176912","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
