Many properties which hold in topological space hold in closure space as well. A topological space X is strongly connected if and only if it is not a disjoint union of countably many but more than one closed set. If X is strongly connected, and Ei\"s are nonempty disjoint closed subsets of X, then X≠ E1⋃E2⋃. We further extend the concept of strongly connectedness in closure space. The aim of this paper is to introduce and study the concept of strongly connectedness in closure space.","PeriodicalId":252632,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences and Applications","volume":"163 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123523540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In earlier papers, we defined several global communication tasks (universal exchange, universal broadcast, universal summation) that can be critical tasks when complex algorithms are mapped to parallel machines. We showed that utilizing the symmetry can make network optimization a tractable problem. In particular, we showed that Cayley graphs have the desirable property that certain routing schemes starting from a single node can be transferred to all nodes in a way that does not introduce conflicts. In this paper, we define the concept of spanning factorizations and show that this property can also be used to transfer routing schemes from a single node to all other nodes. We show that all Cayley graphs and many (perhaps all) vertex transitive graphs have spanning factorizations.","PeriodicalId":252632,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences and Applications","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-07-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129390358","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A trivariate Poisson process approach has been adopted for modeling the three stage cancer growth by considering the stages of cells in the tumor namely normal cell, mutant cell and malignant cell in the presence and absence of chemotherapy during time ‘t’. Stochastic differential equations were obtained and the three dimensional joint probability functions along with related statistical measures were derived. Model behavior was analysed through numerical data.","PeriodicalId":252632,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences and Applications","volume":"28 16","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131500273","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A solution of such fixed point equations,when one exists,often has to be obtained by process of successive approximations.Order theory plays a role when X carries an order and when solution can be realized as joint of elements which approximates it. At some instances we find that fixed point theorems for ordered sets appear to be insufficient . In such cases , it is helpful to apply fixed point techniques in metric spaces. In this paper give some results in this direction. By using the notion of quasi metric spaces we prove a theorem simultaneously generalizing fixed point theorems for ordered structures and metric spaces.All results are interpreted in terms of fuzzy set theory.","PeriodicalId":252632,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of Mathematical Sciences and Applications","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130787693","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
