The multiple scattering and backscattering enhancement caused by rain is analyzed for 35 and 95GHz millimeter wave (MMW). The higher frequency, the more backscattering enhancement by rain is. The influence of the rain backscattering enhancement on MMW radar detection performance is studied. The results show that the signal to clutter ratio for MMW radar is evidently decreased and the clutter to noise ratio is increased considering the rain backscattering enhancement. The MMW radar detection performance can be degenerated severely due to the backscattering enhancement of rain.","PeriodicalId":250360,"journal":{"name":"CSQRWC 2012","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128505206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But it is not accurate to calculate the input impedance then, the advanced delta-gap source model can solve this problem. Instead of using a shorted-circuited conductor to represent a zero-width exciting gap according to the conventional method, the approach is then set equal to the coaxial fed to estimate the fed position with respect to the working wavelength. Geometry Meshing and the accurate calculation of the impedance matrix elements are applied to the new model to improve the calculation precision. Numerical results are presented to show the high accuracy of the advanced delta-gap source model.","PeriodicalId":250360,"journal":{"name":"CSQRWC 2012","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127857094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The rf field driven at one single-frequency source in the plasma reactor is very important for the quality of finished semiconductor products, so how to generate an uniform rf field distribution is the key technology in applications. With the energy constrained nature of the wireless sensor nodes, energy-efficient routing algorithms need to be carefully designed before wireless sensor networks are widely deployed for data gathering. This article proposed an energy-efficient cluster routing algorithm (ECRA) for data gathering in wireless sensor networks. Firstly, ECRA divided the nodes in WSNs into clusters. Secondly, a chain was formed in each by an improved nearest neighbor algorithm. Finally, the multi-hop was used to transmit the gathered data from clusterhead to the base station. The simulation results show that the proposed approach can distribute energy consumption uniformly among the sensor nodes, and thus prolong the network lifetime.","PeriodicalId":250360,"journal":{"name":"CSQRWC 2012","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134647454","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, ADS-B data link is a wireless broadcast-type link which is without designed-in security measures. Therefore potential security vulnerabilities and threats remain to be assessed and resolved. This paper aims to assess security of the ADS-B data link, and build encryption and authentication capability on the ADS-B data link to provide privacy and integrity of broadcast information. In the paper, a data link authenticated encryption (DLAE) scheme is designed for simultaneously protecting both message's privacy and its authenticity. Traditionally, these two security goals had been handled separately by means of encryption schemes and message authentication codes. The proposed DLAE can increase significantly the processing speed in comparison with the traditional design methods.","PeriodicalId":250360,"journal":{"name":"CSQRWC 2012","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-07-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114307698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
