This strategy aims to balance the demand and supply considering the dynamic and economic price structure of the grid. Demand response strategy is implemented based on the heterogeneous nature of response of the consumers to the electricity price. In this paper, feature selection and regression analysis have been performed to study the dependence of the stability condition and system parameters on the parameters of decentralized control like the reaction time of the consumer, power produced or consumed and the price elasticity. For example, it is used to calculate the installation position of in-line heaters to prevent equipment freezes. The prediction of an acceptable temperature profile requires a series of complex and iterative calculations which the available data in most of the cases is insufficient. In order to develop a temperature profile correlation of the gas pipelines in Amazonas was performed the calculation of the overall heat transfer coefficient by thermohydraulic simulations from real values. In this study, pressure, flow, and temperature data were collected from the natural gas field and were inserted into Pipeline Studio ® Software. The best overall heat transfer coefficients performance in relation to real temperature profile were 2.0 W/m2K, 1.7 W/m2K, and 1 W/m2K. These results were used because the graph of the temperature profile has behaved in a way more compatible with the graph of the real temperature profile. In this study, the input image is considered being shot with high ISO in the low light condition and the noise is modeled as the additive white Gaussian noise. The Subspace Approximation with Augmented Kernels (Saak) transform, a state-of-the-art spatial-spectral representation, is used for extracting the local characteristics of an image. The clean coefficients are estimated based on optimal linear minimum mean square error (LMMSE) estimation with a shrinkage on Saak coefficients. The processed image provides subjectively satisfactory quality improvement and an increase in peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) without harming edges or other image details. Currently, the online shopping business turns into popularity because of more convenience and faster due to internet development Elderly now use online technology mainly for entertainment, tracking information and conversations, and less proportion for online purchasing. This research aims to study the demographics of elderly and product purchasing behaviors through online channel. The relationship of technology acceptance factors; perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use as well as attitude of elderly with the decision to adopt online purchasing is studied which is based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The results show that convenience, stable system, reliability and security of payment system are the significant factors for elderly's adoption. Besides it has a high calorific value, RDF has a more economical price than coal. RDF production is also able to solve the problem of MSW and reduce CO2 emissions. One of the cement industries in Indonesia has developed various alternative energy materials to reduce the use of coal, including rice husk, coconut fiber, and energy from MSW, which is processed into RDF. The purpose of this study is to investigate the RDF quality standard that is in accordance with the needs of the cement industry and evaluate the RDF production process. Quality Function Development (QFD) method is used to determine the parameters of RDF quality standards that are suitable for the cement industry. The results of the QFD analysis show that there are six main characteristics in the RDF quality standard based on importance response, including RDF 3–5 cm, particulate 80 mg/Nm3, humidity level ≤ 20%, mercury 5 mg/Nm3, calorific value ≥ 2500 kcal/kg and low ash content. While the evaluation of the production process shows the number of RDF rejects quite high. The priority of process improvement with root cause analysis shows that it is necessary to conduct pre-production treatment of RDF on MSW material by drying, reduce impurities content through the screening process, and ensure the design of blades on the shredder in order to achieve the targeted size. Most of the existing robot is using laser range finder. There sometimes are collision with equipment such as cables, stepladders and desks because LRF can only get the data on a certain height from floor. To solve this collision, this paper provides intelligent control by using a LRF and a Depth camera. The indirect sonication was applied to distribute magnetite particles in RF aqueous solution to obtain the magnetic adsorbent that could be used as an easier recovery of adsorbent for water treatment. As a result of the characterization by X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy was confirmed the presence of magnetite into the gel at 1.19% with low molar ratio of magnetite and resorcinol ratio at 0.01. The surface morphology and textural properties of RF gel characterized by field emission scanning electron microscope affect directly with the variation of molar ratio of resorcinol and catalyst (R/C), which were 50, 100 and 200. The behavior of arsenic (As(V)) adsorption by using MCs was studied in groundwater into the ranges of pH from 2.0 to 7.0. The maximum As(V) uptake was on MC prepared with low R/C molar ratio at 50 while R/C at 100 gave the best performance within the application range of pH. This study set out to preliminary assess the condition of one of important underground passageways in Kuwait City and to propose different repair methods based on structural deficiencies. Major qualitative and quantitative methodological approaches under this study include inspecting the surface for significant critical areas, testing of concrete strength in situ using Schmidt Hammer and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity instruments, and detecting localized hidden defects with Infrared thermography camera. Analysis of non-destructive testing on concrete revealed that the overall quality ranged from excellent to good. This has enabled numerous new applications for analysing and studying different environmental phenomena. New environmental simulations have been developed, which also utilize high performance computing reachable in today's time. In this paper, a new environmental simulation is proposed that focuses on 3D landslides simulation by using surface topography from LiDAR data and SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics), which is a well-established Lagrangian fluid simulation method. By transforming the surface data into regularly distributed particle type mesh, different particles can be augmented with surface-based properties. Classified surface data also provide a new way of representing obstacles (e.g. vegetation and buildings), and simulation boundary conditions that act differently on a landslide's velocity. This limitation would not affect just conventional computation but also quantum algorithms. In this paper we shown it could be possible to overcome this “barrier” by considering a quantum system based on evanescent photons produced inside optical components made of metamaterials.
