A qualitative study based on one to one interview, workshops and focus group discussions was conducted to gather information regarding factors influencing network relationships for internationalization from four business organizations in the Gävleborg region of Sweden. Multiple case studies were developed to present the findings. The business firms have pointed out several factors that directly and indirectly influences the network relationships in case of internationalization of the business operations. This study provides businesses an understanding of the network relationships with other businesses and allows them to take measures in order to build a sustainable business network relationship with other business to ensure sustainability and internationalization. The paper is significant for two reasons. First, it presents the situation regarding the network relationships of the business organizations on the issue of internationalization. Second, this study provides insights into an unexplored area of influencing factors that influence network relationships between businesses for internationalization. This paper is qualitative and provides ideas for future research. A quantitative study can be conducted in order develop a business network model of the business for internationalization using social network analysis. These are also the Sustainable Development Goals till 2030 such as “Zero Hunger”, “Responsible Production and Consumption”. Strategic and operational interventions can be prioritised across national, regional or industry level in food supply chains. The aim of this article is to present the possibility of using supplier relationship management in securing food and reducing waste. The considerations are based on the following scientific methods: literature analysis, a survey performed using Computer Assisted Telephone Interview among Polish organic distributors. In the article, the role of supplier relationship management in reassuring sustainable business was underlined. As a result, the portfolio of tools and advices for practical use, mostly by purchasing and procurement departments, in food securing and reducing waste was presented. The most important ones are as follows: traceability, measuring performance, evaluations and collaborative actions.","PeriodicalId":248342,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th international conference on Management, Economics and Humanities","volume":"2677 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121843873","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, using the example of the creation of opportunity matriсes, we describe a method for chain innovative transformation of economic processes using an intersectoral GDP matrix directly analogous to the DNA matrix in the polymerase chain reaction that revolutionized molecular biology. The idea behind the creation of the GDP matrix is to obtain innovative products and opportunity matrices, which will be formed by chains of sectors of the economy using the following algorithm. The most innovatively developed sectors of the economy are located at the edges of the GDP matrix according to the queue (for example, 1-3-5-7-8-6-4-2). In such a scheme, innovatively less developed sectors of the economy, located in the middle of the GDP matrix, have the most contacts, which give them the opportunity to gain more skills and abilities. The most distal sectors of the matrix have fewer contacts, but in view of greater economic development, they will generate the innovative ideas and be the last link forming or receiving the end-product. Each newly formed opportunity matrix (GDP') can serve as a template for the creation of new innovative ideas and products. Using the proposed approach, the economic miracles of Singapore, South Korea, and Hong Kong are considered along with the prospect of innovative development of African countries that have not yet undergone industrialization.","PeriodicalId":248342,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th international conference on Management, Economics and Humanities","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122642492","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The potential economic benefits derived from tourism are tremendous and therefore often provide an attractive form of economic development. Tourism for a country like Jordan is often a critical sector of the economy. The tourism sector ranked as one of the most important foreign exchange sources for the Jordan economy with about three US billion Dollars in 2017. Very few studies have examined cultural heritage tourism CHS as a potential economic development tool in Jordan. This study aims to propose a cultural heritage project to be implemented in the Northeast of Jordan with an emphasis on the uniqueness of the cultural heritage assets in the region. Two methods have been used to estimate the value of the cultural heritage sites, WTP and TC methods. For the purpose of this study, a survey has been conducted in Jordan last July 2017 on foreign tourists to examine the hypothetical entrance fee for these sites, and to estimate revenue generation from the fees, lodging, and food. The Travel Coast will help to estimate the demand curve and factors impacting visitor’s decision to travel to the targeted area. The study found that income and educational level as well as region of respondents significantly affect willingness to travel to CHS in the Northeast of Jordan. Furthermore, the study found that multi-destination, and variety seeking also significantly impact WTT to the CHS. The study found that the significant variables were able to explain about 74% of the probability of willingness to travel to the CHS. The study recommends improving CHS in the study area and working closely with local communities to empower them with training and funds. Additional effort needs to be undertaken to market these sites nationally and internationally and to maximize the return of the sites on the local and national level.","PeriodicalId":248342,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of The 8th international conference on Management, Economics and Humanities","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133789000","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
