The main threats that may occur have been indicated in the context of military, non-military, asymmetric or hybrid activities. In addition, the mortgage effects of the actions taken, which can have a measurable impact on the safety of the Poznań agglomeration, were discussed and presented. An additional thread in the article is the indication of the existing threats that took place in the area of the Poznań-Krzesiny military airport, which could threaten the functioning of the critical infrastructure located in the area of the 31st Tactical Air Base and the critical infrastructure located in the area of the Poznań agglomeration. \u0000The article does not contain any information or data defined as classified information in accordance with Ustawa z dnia 5 sierpnia 2010 r. o ochronie informacji niejawnych.

The hypothesis formed and verified in this paper is that since the beginning of Russian expansion on Ukraine in 2014 the G7 members have called for a negotiated process and a political solution to the conflict, but it was hardly possible to quickly adopt and implement timely and adequately decisions to resolve the crisis in the region through the bonding of global and regional security mechanisms. Thus, a comfortable field for prolonging the conflict, which has developed into a full-scale war, was formed. The research methodology is based on systemic, historical, structural and political approaches to the study of the problem. Research methods are comparative analysis, content analysis, chronological and classification methods. \u0000This study allows us to distinguish the stages of the G7 involvement in the “Ukrainian issue” in the period of 2014–2022. During these years, the group’s policy underwent three shifts in course, influenced in large part not only by the activities of Russia, but also by policy course changes of individual G7 members. The example of the nine-year unresolved local Russian-Ukrainian conflict shows that such crisis may pose a threat not only to regional, but also to global stability and there is a strong correlation between them.
The Attitudes of the South Caucasus Countries Towards the Full-Scale Russian Aggression Against Ukraine
J. A research hypothesis was developed for the purpose of this article, which assumes that none of the South Caucasus countries are currently viable allies of the United States and the European Union in the region anymore, because following the Russian Federation’s aggression against Ukraine, neither Armenia, Azerbaijan nor Georgia have decided to take measures that would strike directly at Russian interests and also align with Western policy. In verifying the research hypothesis that was put forward in the Introduction to this text, it should be concluded that it is true. Looking at the actions of all the three South Caucasus countries, none of them has openly supported Ukraine on the political or military level. Nor have any of them joined the sanctions imposed on the aggressor by the West. The article mainly uses the decision-making method, the comparative method and one of the general logical methods, namely analysis.

By grasping varied aspects of political communication exercised by the Ukrainian president, we try to explain how and why the Ukrainian state is capable of creating an effective communication campaign in times of being invaded by its powerful neighbor. According to our assumptions, it is particularly a matter of 1. clarity and relevance of goals that the head of Ukraine wants to achieve through his rhetoric, 2. inclusiveness of the formula that Zelenskyy uses to demonstrate the essence of being Ukrainian and contributing to Ukrainian culture; 3. his artistic proficiency which helps him in identifying the proper means of persuading broad audiences to his narrative and agenda. \u0000To verify the accuracy of the hypotheses, we employed theoretical concepts of logos, ethos, and pathos in the course of analysing chosen speeches delivered by the Ukrainian president. Moreover, the notions of “facilitating leadership” proposed by George C. Edwards III, and the “Medici Effect” coined by Frans Johansson are involved. \u0000The outcomes of the work confirmed our expectations. The high quality and strategic meaning of Zelenskyy’s statements after 24.02.2022 come from three main sources, i.e., 1. transparent and justified message; 2. the unifying qualities of the speaker; 3. his persuasive skilfulness.

These statements differ from neutral positions that dominated in the Arab world. \u0000The research argues that the narrative of the statements reflect emotional and explicit reactions to the ongoing situation in Ukraine from local perspectives, as in the case of Lebanon or Syria. However, the study also argues that claims declared by opposition leaders and political factions in Lebanon, Libya or Sudan contradict the official statements released by authorities of these countries. In addition, the analysis is confronted with inexplicit claims of the Gulf countries which demonstrate differences in the narrative of the Ukraine war. Moreover, the article reflects various contexts and complex social, political and economic conditions that affect the statements. \u0000However, the research also demonstrates the importance of stylistic features applied in the statements. Thus, particular words and phrases in Arabic reinforce the messages and express certain stands of local authorities and political leaders towards the Ukraine war and geopolitical tensions.
