Semarang is in 6th place with the highest dropout rate in Central Java. The dropout rate from 2014 to 2016 is each number of 13.9%; 3.40% (13 cases); and 6.54% (14 cases) at Balkesmas Semarang area. The purpose of this study was to know the association of characteristics, motivation and attitude of health workers on TB treatment drop out at Balkesmas Semarang area. This method uses case-control with 21 cases of TB drop-out patients and 21 control sample of patients recovered or complete treatment, which is domiciled in Semarang and conducted more than 15 years old. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and data retrieval using the questionnaire. The results of this study showed that lack of selfmotivation (p-value 0.046) and moderate motivation (p-value 0.004), lack of family’s motivation (p-value 0.03) associated with the incidence of drop out treatment among TB patients. Patients who have moderate motivation contribute greatly to TB treatment drop out. Self-motivation is needed in increasing the regularity of treatment, self-motivation can be obtained from family, the surrounding environment and health facilities. Eccentric exercise causes muscle cells damage leading to loss of muscle strength, increase muscle pain, muscle weakness, stiffness and swelling resulting in decreased physical performance and psychological distress. The purpose of this study was to compare the effects between heat and cold therapy and exercise on DOMS symptoms and functional capacity. Twelve healthy male participants were divided into two groups: Heat and Cold therapy (HCT) group (6 persons) and Exercise (E) group (6 persons). The experiment was performed on 2 times included postinduced DOMS and after getting recovery treatment. This study found that pain was significantly decreased (p<0.05) in both groups but not significantly different between-group comparison. Conclusion, HTC therapy and E treatment could decrease immediate muscle pain after induced DOMS, And may be a guideline for further studies and additional experiments. Data at the massage clinic site explained that in one year there were 481 sports injury sufferers who had knee injuries, if the percentage of knee injuries in one year was 31.93% and the knee was the highest risk of injury. This study aims to determine the relationship of stress levels with changes in pain intensity in someone who has an injury due to exercise in the knee joint. The method used in this study was observational analytic. With a retrospective cohort design. The research sample was purposive sampling obtained 28 injured patients with criteria of injury level I and II and with regard to the age of someone injured. data collection uses two scales, namely watershed (depretion, anxiety and stress, and VAS scale. The results showed that the majority of respondents who suffered knee injuries were respondents who had chronic category injuries AND who were stressed were in the high and medium category. So this study found evidence that the duration of illness was related to knee pain in sports injuries. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between stress and the intensity of pain in knee injuries due to sports activities. The research method was used quantitative method with descriptive analysis approach. The study sample was swimming athletes totaling 3 people. The jump results from the start performed by athletes with 3 experiments were analyzed by statistical analysis and motion analysis using Dartfish software. The conclusions are (1) there are significant differences in the experiments carried out by swimmers with different starting angles resulting in different jump distances; (2) motion analysis shows that swimmer 3 in the second experiment with knee angle of 109  , slope angle of 100  , repulsion angle (elevation) of 22  , entry angle of 39  with travel time 0.33 seconds in air reaches the farthest jump distance which is 3.78 meter.","PeriodicalId":247372,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on Physical Education, Sport, and Health (ACPES 2019)","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126899947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, athletes must to train without any obstacles from external factors such us facilities. Study Purpose: To provide a solution which might be applied on the limited school area by doing field analysis and designing appropriate model, especially for uneven bars apparatus in gymnastics. This is a research and development, the protocols have been approved by research committee of Post Graduate Program, Universitas Negeri Semarang and Central Java Province Federation of Gymnastics (PERSANI). Materials in this research are school arena, the uneven bars. Observation and measurement were used to collect the data, then analyze by using a software Computer Aided Design. Data are showed as descriptive quantitative. To facilitates an uneven bars can be built either by using wood logs or fiber glass with adjustable poles (lower: 1.61-1.70 meters; upper:2.41-2.50 meters), and with properties of handrail such as tension: 13.64 Newton, displacement: 1.17 mm, strain: 4.428 m/m. This study aims to observe the feasibility of using mobile app for monitoring ACL injuries during dynamic sporting activities in a two-year prospective cohort study. This study developed a bespoke mobile app, to be used by the participants as a weekly-basis monitoring platform. 104 injuryfree participants were monitored for one-season. Participant’s compliance in reporting their activities and/or injury each week was assessed. Participants’ anticipated time of exposure was declared upon installation of the app. The incoming data from the app was stored in an allocated web server and checked weekly by the researcher. At the end of the season, 93 participants were analyzed. Forty-seven participants completed the monitoring requirement of 36 weeks, while thirteen comply <4 weeks. The highest declared weekly exposure was 20 hours (n=3) and the lowest was 2 (n=4). Sixteen participants declared 6 hours of exposure per week. Direct application of mobile app in monitoring injury still faces many hurdles. In order to result in optimal participant compliance, findings from this study shows that total reliance on the mobile app alone may not be sufficient. The result showed significant different between pre and post FSG on FVC (p = .001) and PFR (p = .001). Pre FSG the variables predictor of FVC affected by height, weight, and frequency a midnight cough, exercise frequency. But post FSG, the variable predictor of FVC affected by weight, and frequency of midnight cough. Furthermore, the predictor PFR pre FSG influenced by age, height, weight, asthma history, bedtime, and snore. Post FSG the variables of predictor PFR changed by age, height, and snore. To apply the learning model in lectures, lecturers must have adequate knowledge of the concepts and applications of learning models that are appropriate to the needs of students because the characteristics, knowledge, motor skills and desires, and student learning motivation are very diverse. The accuracy of lecturers in determining the learning model in lectures will be increasingly important considering the learning process in the classroom and in the field is very dynamic (always changing) along with the development of the all-digital era.
