It is consistent with Hargreaves' view that teaching, learning, and leadership have an irrevocably emotional nature, whether on purpose or accidentally. The study seeks to evaluate an English teacher's experiences. According to Webster and Mertova (2007), narrative inquiry is based on human tales, which give a framework for investigating how people experience the world through their stories. Webster and Mertova state that narrative inquiry is a subfield of narrative research. The inquiry aimed to examine the emotional geography of team teaching lecturers in the English Language Education Department. A 33-year-old male English lecturer at a private University in Majalengka enhanced his professionalism by participating in several international and national conferences, which reflected the aspects of social and emotional well-being, such as presenting his article and having some discussions with other scholars. During the team teaching, the participants were given the opportunity and trust to do every single activity from the beginning to the end. His teaching partner treated him very well in implementing various programs within the team teaching. In brief, the emotional geographies contribute to developing a lecturer’s professional and cognitive aspects, which have been implemented during the instructional process. The object of this research is the Just Mercy movie script. Through an intrinsic approach, the elements described focus on characterization, plot, and background. Meanwhile, for the extrinsic approach, I analyze racial discrimination through the theory of genetic structuralism. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Furthermore, research on the main character is carried out by elaborating between intrinsic and extrinsic elements, as well as looking at the various types of acts of racial discrimination obtained by the main character through a genetic structuralism theory approach. The result of this study is that there are acts of racial discrimination such as verbal, non-verbal, and intimidation in the Just Mercy movie script. apart from that all these acts of racial discrimination are like bad history that keeps repeating itself. \u0000Key Words: Discrimination, Racial, Genetic Structuralism, Intrinsic, Extrinsic \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis naskah film melalui pendekatan intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Objek penelitian ini adalah naskah film Just Mercy. Melalui pendekatan intrinsic, unsur – unsur yang diuraikan berfokus pada penokohan, plot, dan latarbelakang. Sementara itu untuk pendekatan ekstrinsik saya menganalisis diskriminasi ras melalui teori strukturalisme genetic. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Selanjutnya, penelitian pada karakter utama dilakukan dengan melakukan elaborasi antara unsur intrinsik dan ekstrinsik, serta melihat berbagai jenis tindakan diskriminasi rasial yang didapatkan oleh karakter utama melalui pendekatan teori strukturalism genetik. Visiting lecturer (dosen tamu) adalah seorang akademisi atau profesional yang diundang oleh sebuah institusi pendidikan untuk memberikan kuliah atau ceramah kepada mahasiswa dan staf pengajar di universitas atau perguruan tinggi. Biasanya, visiting lecturer diundang untuk memberikan wawasan baru, perspektif yang berbeda, atau pengetahuan khusus dalam bidang tertentu kepada komunitas akademik. Perkembangan bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing (BIPA) di dunia internasional juga semakin melesat. Pada tahun 2012, tercatat lebih dari 45 lembaga telah mengajarkan bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing (BIPA). Pengambilan data via zoom selama tiga bulan setiap hari. Observasi dilakukan secara daring dengan alasan jarak dan waktu. Penelitian dilakukan sekitar bulan September sampai dengan November 2022. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 12 dari berbagai sekolah di Madagaskar. Total siswa yang menjadi objek pada penelitian sebanyak 40 siswa. Diantaraya 10 laki-laki dan 30 perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode simak. Metode simak digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian, berkaitan dengan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Dengan menggunakan penelitian deskriptif, penelitian ini secara detail akan mencoba mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran pemerolehan bahasa peserta didik di Madagaskar. Hasil dan kesimpulan komunikasi lintas budaya antara pengajar BIPA dan pemelajar Madagaskar adalah sangat positif. Banyak alasan dari siswa Madagaskar untuk tertarik belajar bahasa Indonesia lebih mendalam. To understand a work as a whole, there are many aspects that can be observed. One of them is understanding the tools and language used in literary works. Formalism is a school that was born in Russia as a form of opposition to the theoretical approach of previous literary works. According to the school of Formalism, there are two elements that can be studied in literary works related to internal mechanics and the language used in literary works. Internal mechanics examines literary works by looking at the structure and style of language used as a tool in constructing a literary work. Meanwhile, the analysis of the language of literary works is related to the defamiliarization technique used by the author in creating a story. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive techniques. In order to collect data, researchers used literature study with content analysis method. Sources of research data were taken from excerpts of sentences contained in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. To perform data analysis, researchers used data triangulation which consisted of data collection, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The data are speeches collected through video documents, namely 3 Somasi Episode videos selected with certain considerations. Data analysis is carried out through the following stages, namely: (1) transcribing the speech from the video; (2) identifying speech that contains satirical; (3) classifying speech that matches the characteristics of the forms of satirical; (4) analyzing speech based on the characteristics of the forms of satirical; and (5) drawing conclusions. From the results of the research and discussion, various forms of satire were found in the speeches in the three videos of Somasi Episode, namely 8 irony speeches, 5 satire speeches, 5 cynicism speeches, 4 sarcasm speeches, 3 innuendo speeches. The use of satirical language style in the speeches in the video episode of Somasi is a means to communicate unrest and criticism in an indirect, humorous way by the speaker towards public issues. \u0000 \u0000Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk sindiran pada video Episode Somasi di saluran Youtube Deddy Corbuzier. Data merupakan tuturan dikumpulkan melalui dokumen video, yaitu 3 video Episode Somasi yang dipilih dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan berikut, yaitu : (1) mentranskripsi tuturan dari video; (2) mengidentifikasi tuturan yang mengandung gaya bahasa sindiran; (3) mengklasifikasi tuturan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dari bentuk-bentuk sindiran; (4) menganalisis tuturan berdasarkan karakteristik dari bentuk-bentuk sindiran; dan (5) menarik kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, ditemukan pelbagai bentuk sindiran dalam tuturan pada tiga video Episode Somasi, yaitu 8 tuturan ironi, 5 tuturan satire, 5 tuturan sinisme, 4 tuturan sarkasme, 3 tuturan innuendo. As cultural phenomena as the novel has the emphasis, those coflicts are found part of human daily lives.Even, from the title, “Anak Semua Bangsa,” the novel depicts general view dealing with the phenomena. This study employs Pierre Bourdieu’s perspective to identify the two phenomena. The research method is a descriptive method. Sources of data are quotes, sentences and paragraphs contained in the novel “Anak Semua Bangsa” by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Data analysis techniques are carried out by identifying, analyzing, describing and concluding the results. Based on the findings and discussion, it was revealed that the novel conveyed power structuration, proven by the following angles: (1) from the four capitals, i.e. economic, social, cultural, and symbolic capitals, and the most influential of these is the economic capital; (2) the symbolic violence, which is in the form of euphemisms and sensory mechanism, is committed by the actor who possesses the dominant social capital. The most of the symbolic violence are committed by actors who process the social capital such as parents to their children and other social relationships. \u0000. \u0000Keywords: Power Structuration, Symbolic Violence, Anak Semua Bangsa, Pramoedya Ananta Toer \u0000Abstrak : Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strukturasi kekuasaan dan kekerasan simbolik yang terjadi dalam novel Anak Semua Bangsa karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Penelitian ini fokus kepada 1) Strukturasi Kekuasaan dan 2) Kekerasan Simbolik dalam Novel Anak Semua Bangsa karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif Pierre Bourdieu untuk menemukan strukturasi kekuasaan dan kekerasan simbolik. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif. Sumber data adalah kutipan, kalimat dan paragraf yang terdapat dalam novel Anak Semua Bangsa karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Teknik análisis data dilakukan dengan cara mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, mendeskripsikan dan menyimpulkan hasil análisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pertama terdapat strukturasi kekuasaan dalam novel Anak Semua Bangsa karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer yakni (1) adanya keempat modal di dalam novel tersebut yakni modal ekonomi, modal sosial, modal budaya dan simbolik. Namun, modal yang paling berpengaruh yakni modal ekonomi. Kedua (2) kekerasan simbolik dalam novel Anak Semua Bangsa karya Pramoedya Ananta Toer menggunakan mekanisme eufemisme dan sensorik. This study aims to identify and describe the word formation processes on snack brands. There were 30 objects of snack brands in this study. The object of this study was snack names found in Alfamart and Indomaret. Qualitative descriptive method was applied in this study. The results show that that there were six words formation processes found on snack names, namely blending, compounding, borrowing, acronyms, coinage and multiple processes. There were 38 students and one lecturer involved in this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the typesof oppressions that occur in novel Moxie and to determine women's struggle to the oppression. Using Marion Young's iris theory to find out various kinds of oppressions that occur in novel Moxie and women's resistance using 2 theories of feminism, namely radical feminism by Alison M. Jaggar is used to analyze how the patriarchy system triggers sexual coercion and multicultural feminism. This theory is used to analyze the patriarchy system that triggers sexual coercion that happens because of race and black skin. The research methodology in this research is qualitative descriptive, where relevant data is collected from the text or words found in the novel Moxie. This research resulted in womens oppression such as sexualharrassment, intimidation, and rape as a form of sexual coercion contained in novel moxie. Metode sastra bandingan ditekankan pada aspek kesejarahan dan unsur budaya dalam teks. Kegiatan yang dilakukan menganalisis, menafsirkan dan menilai. Karena obyeknya lebih dari satu maka peneliti melakukan analisis struktural kedua karya baru diperbandingkan.
