The D2D Underlaying communication system can use the same Resource Block (RB) as the Cellular User Equipment (CUE). Implementing this communication system can ease the burden on BS and can transmit data with higher throughput in low power. However, using RB simultaneously can cause interference and therefore an RB allocation scheme is needed. The algorithm used in the scheduling process of the uplink RB owned by CUE to the D2D pair is the joint greedy algorithm with sectoring scheme. This work used a scenario where the value of the D2D pair are varied. The parameters measured in this simulation were sum-rate, spectral efficiency and fairness. The simulation results show that the joint greedy with sectoring allocation scheme has good energy efficiency and spectral efficiency values of 6.063× 106 bps/watt and 16.982 bps/Hz. This paper proposes a simple narrowband communication systems for high speed flying devices for critical applications such as missile and drone. To make the system simple, we consider Repetition codes and slight increase of the number of pilot symbols such that the system can predict accurately the fast-changing channel due to time-selective fading. The equalizer in this paper is designed according to the addition of the pilot symbols so that the system works at a maximum speed of 450 km/h to make successful operation for missile and drone before they are taken down by the enemy. Computer simulations are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed communication systems. The operating frequency is industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) band, where binary phase shift keying (BPSK) modulations are used with Repetition codes being the channel coding. The bit error rate (BER) performance is evaluated under additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) and Rayleigh fading channels. The results confirm that excellent BER performances are obtained having error-floor less than 10????4 making many applications, including image transmission, are possible, which are great for high speed flying devices even with Repetition codes and simple zero forcing (ZF) equalizer. In this paper, a compact SAR prototype transmitter was designed so it could be installed in small platform. This SAR transmitter was designed to generate a frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) using direct digital synthesizer (DDS) integrated with RF front end modules such as analog filter and power amplifier. The bandwidth of the radar spectrum is 10 MHz, and the carrier frequency used is 1.27 GHz. The L-Band has been chosen as the carrier signal in order to detect the target (trees). The payload was designed for aerial vehicle, hence the choice of components should be as small as possible. The FMCW-SAR transmitter was implemented by using DDS module AD9850 and integrated with another RF component. One of the missions of nano satellites is the retrieval of telemetry data from sensors that transmitted using APRS technology (Automatic Packet Reporting System). We designed a prototype to monitor sensor by utilizing the APRS. Real-time sensor data was transmitted to monitor through radio using AX.25 protocol. On the transmitter side, an APRS Tracker integrated with a microprocessor ATMEGA 1284P to modulate the AFSK signal. The existence of this AFSK signal is used to transmit and receive telemetry data using handy talky. We use a computer with AGWPE software to demodulate the AFSK signal and UI-View32 to show the telemetry data. The results showed that the telemetry data can be displayed on the receiver side and acquired in real time. The accuracy of temperature sensor received by the receiver is 92.97%, and humidity sensor is 90.57%. Eventhough it use a small antenna, SAR produce high resolution as good as a large antenna. In SAR imaging, radar is mounted on a moving platform. It transmits electromagnetic pulses and receives backscattered echo signals. Transmitted pulses are subsequently scattered by earth surface and only small portion of them are received by antenna. SAR transmitted signals normally is a chirp or linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal. Chirp signal can be generated by using the analog and digital generator. Digital chirp generator is divided into two methods which are the memory-based and direct digital synthesizer (DDS). The difference of these two methods is located in the memory ROM. In this study, we designed and realized digital chirp generator by using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) DE-1 development board for SAR implementation. It operates in 1.27 GHz (L Band) frequency and had a bandwith of 10 MHz with 24 MHz sampling rate. With the mapping and navigation on the robot can allow the robot to recognize the surrounding environment.Data from LIDAR sensors can be converted to maps of the surrounding environment and can be used as an estimate of the position of robots in a closed environment. The distance data from the LIDAR sensor and the LIDAR sensor position status data are converted into Cartesian axes and processed into local maps. Ariffin","doi":"10.25124/jmecs.v4i1.1698","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.25124/jmecs.v4i1.1698","url":null,"abstract":"Emission generated by motor vehicles is one of the environmental pollution and it can interfere with the health, especially on the 2-stroke engine in which the emissions are greater than the 4-stroke engine. In this study, HHO, generated by electrolysis process in a reactor, was injected into 2-stroke engine. A test method called \"idle\" was performed using SNI 19-7118.3-2005 standard so that the emissions generated on the 2-stroke engine was reduced. HHO was added by forwarding the gas through the hose on bubbler and entering the air hose filter in the carburator. The reactors were conditioned to produce 400 ml electrolysis and a catalyst such as KOH with different concentrations. It affected the rate of HHO flow. Prior to the addition of HHO, levels of HC was 6453 ppm at 6000 rpm and it decreased by 31.66% when the HHO was added. This decrease also occurred in CO, where the levels of CO fell from 2. 56% to 1.75 %. On the other hand CO2 levels increased from 2.23 % to 4.22 % with the HHO addition. In this study, it was found that the best HHO rate was147 mLpm.
