Therefore, these circumstances require more efficient methods for prompt detection of hypoxic condition. Newly, signal processing techniques bring out an innovative horizon for processing the CTG signals. Herein, we are exploring the usefulness of CTG signals by converting them to Recurrence Plots (RP) and classifying using deep learning models for the more accurate detection of hypoxia. To effectively com-bat the disease, early and precise screening of infected individuals is essential. The study uses blood test data which comprises 1736 instances and 35 features that have been collected from the patients who were admitted to the emergency department at the San Raffaele Hospital. For predicting COVID-19 in patients, RT-PCR tests a-re widely used. Once a patient has been identified with the presence of COVID-19, the patient should approach a healthcare professional to determine the severity of the virus and appropriate medical treatment and supportive care should be provided. The patient’s condition should be closely monitored to ensure that their health is improving and to detect any complica-tions that may arise. For this purpose, blood test samples taken from the patient will help to diagnose his condition and the severity of the virus. In this work, a feature selection technique known as Recursive Feature Elimination (RFE) has been used to find out the optimal set of features that are highly related to the existence of COVID-19 in patients. The features obtained using RFE are then applied with a machine learning model and the best results are achieved using a Random Forest classifier with an accuracy of 89%.","PeriodicalId":244861,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Science Hub","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127486642","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Crop mapping using remote sensing data has become an essential tool for agricultural monitoring and management. The process of crop mapping involves the acquisition of multispectral data from satellites, pre-processing of the data and analysis to iden-tify different crop types based on their spectral signatures. This information is then combined with ground truth data to create accurate crop mappings that show the location and extent of different crops within an area. In recent years, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models have been used for crop mapping using Sentinel-2 data. However, CNN models may not be effective in capturing the spatial dependencies between features extracted from multispectral data. To address this issue, we propose a transformer model. The proposed transformer model is compared with the CNN model to demonstrate its effectiveness and accuracy for crop mapping. This study demonstrates the potential of the Transformer model in capturing the spatial dependencies between features and efficiently processing long sequences of data, contributing to improved agricultural practices, resource management and food security.","PeriodicalId":244861,"journal":{"name":"International Research Journal on Advanced Science Hub","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132854848","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
