However, it is difficult for radiologists to predict Photomicrograph of Microcalcification clusters. Therefore, we have developed a computerized scheme for predicting early-stage microcalcification clusters in thermogram images. The gray and color channels of a thermogram image are enhanced by Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization (CLAHE).Optimal set of features selected by Genetic algorithm are fed as input to Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for classification of images into normal, suspect and abnormal categories. The method has been evaluated on real time images comprising normal and abnormal images. The performance of the proposed technique is analyzed in terms convergence time. Experimental results shows that the features used are clinically significant for the accurate detection of breast cancer related tumor.","PeriodicalId":244242,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics","volume":"225 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115742915","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) consists of multiple life saving machines which are continuously recording vital organs of patients and generating vast data at very high frequency. A context aware based real time monitoring system is extremely useful in the modern era of bio-medical engineering which could able to help medical expertise for efficient decision making. Considering multiple vital factors in a real-life scenario an intelligent decision support system could be developed and work more efficiently if associated with Pervasive Data Mining techniques. The approach presented in this research work illustrates the Pervasive Data Mining for Intensive care unit which utilizes “Adaptive Direct Acyclic Graph based Support Vector Machine” (ADAGSVM) to classify the health conditions of elderly patients. An Adult Prognostic Index (API) scoring system has been utilized which could be calculated on the basis of six important vital signs. Based on the value of Adult Prognostic Index, clinical rules may be identified to initiate alarms for monitoring of patient health conditions.","PeriodicalId":244242,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126604673","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Summarization is a way to give abstract form of large document so that the moral of the document can be communicated easily. Current research in automatic summarization is dominated by some effective, yet naive approaches: summarization through extraction, summarization through Abstraction and multi-document summarization. These techniques are used to building a summary of a document. Although there are a number of techniques implemented for the summarization of text for the single document or for the online web data or for any language. Here in this paper we are implemented an efficient technique for text summarization to reduce the computational cost and time and also the storage capacity.","PeriodicalId":244242,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics","volume":"57 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121744959","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is a fast growing emergent technology in which researches try to build a direct channel between a brain and a computer. In this paper we use a Hybrid BCI in order to provide large number of commands with increased accuracy to the BCI user. BCI can serve as powerful aids for severely disabled people in their daily life. This technology is especially used to help the disabled people to move voluntarily. In BCI wheelchair the movement of the wheel chair is going to be controlled by adding voice recognition sensors in order to give an effective result with less effort. The voice and the brain signals when synchronises with each other then it is converted as a movement in the wheelchair by moving it towards left, right, accelerating, decelerating etc,. In this paper we propose a hybrid brain computer ionterface in wheelchair using voice recognition sensors which can be used by physically challenged persons by reducing the effort for high concentration power.","PeriodicalId":244242,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115449629","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Efficient face recognition algorithms are required for applying to those tasks. Recently face recognition is attracting a big attention in the social application and also authentication. Face recognition makes hackers virtually impossible to break one's “password”, but also increases the user- friendliness in human-computer interaction. Face recognition systems are now refill the need for security. The face recognition system is proving to be very efficient security in the system authentication. Face recognition technology has to perform for identify the face recognition. To verify it for authentication claims. By advancing future extraction methods and dimensionality reduction methods in the application and number of face the feature recognition systems has been developed with distinct degrees of success. Recent researches show that high dimensional face images lie on or close to a low dimensional manifold. But LPP is a widely used manifold reduced dimensionality technique.LPP preserve the local structure of face image space which is usually more significant than the global structure preserved by principal component analysis (PCA) and linear Discriminant analysis (LDA). A Graphical User Interface (GUI) has been implemented to show various aspects of locality preserving projection.","PeriodicalId":244242,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129011040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Predicting the crop yield well ahead of its harvest would help the policy makers and farmers for taking appropriate measures for marketing and storage. Such predictions will also help the associated industries for planning the logistics of their business. Several methods of predicting and modeling crop yields have been developed in the past with varying rateof success, as these don't take into account characteristicsoftheweather, a n d aremostly empirical. In the present study a software tool named `Crop Advisor' has been developed as an user friendly web page for predicting the influence of climatic parameters on the crop yields.C4.5 algorithm is used to find out the most influencing climatic parameter on the crop yields of selected crops in selected districts of Madhya Pradesh. This software provides an indication of relative influence of different climatic parameters on the crop yield, other agro-input parameters responsible for crop yield are not considered in this tool, since, application of these input parameters varies with individual fields in space and time.","PeriodicalId":244242,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Computer Communication and Informatics","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126463022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
