Odnos čovjeka i krajolika je u velikoj\u0000mjeri evidentan u regijama u kojima se\u0000ekonomski razvoj oslanja na mineralne\u0000izvore. U tom smislu, grad Tuzla u Bosni i\u0000Hercegovini nudi jedinstven narativ o vri-\u0000jednosti soli kao administrativnog i eko-\u0000nomskog alata. Promjene režima uvje-\u0000tovale su formiranje industrijske mreže\u0000koja je nastala oko ležišta soli i uglja.\u0000Industrija uglja i soli je tako dobila vodeću\u0000ulogu u ekonomskom razvoju Tuzle između\u00001884. i 1992. Nakon 1992, ratna razaranja i\u0000promjene u društvu doprinijeli su tranziciji\u0000iz sekundarnog u tercijarni privredni sek-\u0000tor. Kao rezultat toga, uslijedio je problem\u0000sa visokom stopom nezaposlenosti. Stoga\u0000još nije utvrđen značaj objekata i loka-\u0000liteta koji čine historijski i tehnološki\u0000povezanu mrežu tuzlanskog industrijskog\u0000naslijeđa. STOLJEĆA","authors":"Nedim Rabić","doi":"10.51558/2303-8543.2022.7.7.55","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.51558/2303-8543.2022.7.7.55","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract\u0000The subject of this paper are the diary no-\u0000tes of the Bavarian botanist Otto Sendtner\u0000published in the German magazine \"Das\u0000Ausland\" regarding the medieval fortress of\u0000Srebrenik and the tradition about its fall\u0000under the Ottoman rule, which were\u0000completely unknown in the literature. This\u0000Munich university professor stayed in the\u0000Bosnian ejalet/Province in 1847, and on that\u0000occasion, he visited a significant number of\u0000cities, starting with Split, Livno and Travnik\u0000as the main destination. From the vizier's\u0000city and the seat of Ejalet, he went to\u0000Bosanska Posavina due to his botanical\u0000research, and on that occasion he passed\u0000through Srebrenik. Sendtner wrote in detail\u0000about the fortress, inspired by its features,\u0000and also left a note of local folklore tradition\u0000regarding its fall under the Ottomans, which\u0000deserves special attention. Bosnia and\u0000Herzegovina had particularly favorable\u0000climatic and pedological features for\u0000plum cultivation. These natural bene-\u0000fits and the multiple possibility of\u0000exploitation have enabled the plum to\u0000take a dominant place among Bosnian\u0000fruits. Its economic importance did not\u0000go unnoticed by the Ottoman and later\u0000Austro-Hungarian authorities, who paid\u0000special attention to it. Therefore, it\u0000should not be surprising that in the\u0000observed period the plum was a kind of\u0000national treasure, and plum growing\u0000was the most developed branch of fruit\u0000growing. The broader military-political context necessary to understand the meaning and content of a given statement is depicted. It is a report written after the establishment of the border between the Habsburg Monarchy and the Ottoman Empire as a result of the Treaty of Passarowitz in 1718. Although very brief, this document undoubtedly indicates the existence of a necropolis of stećci-tombstones in Bijeljina, or its immediate vicinity, as well as in the area of the settlement of Kobaš on banks of the river Sava. After the mention of stećci in the travelogue of Benedikt Kuripešić in 1530, these data represent the second oldest mention of these medieval tombstones in written sources, and per se deserve attention.
