The most common and simplest methods of stealing electricity is tapping or hooking electricity directly from the distribution line. This paper presents an advanced protection method to protect the electricity theft directly from the distribution line. On the distribution side, the system converts the frequency of electricity into 6Hz to 7Hz range, and in the consumer end, it again converts the frequency into 50Hz by using an authorized meter. This method is totally completed by frequency variation in the distribution line which reduces the maximum electricity theft occurs in the distribution side of Bangladesh.","PeriodicalId":242439,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 4.0 (STI)","volume":"37 ","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113993200","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, we propose an automated intersection management system that extracts data from a well-defined grid of sensors and optimizes traffic flow by controlling traffic signals. The data extraction mechanism is independent of the optimization algorithm and this paper primarily emphasizes the later one. We have used MiniZinc [1] modeling language to define our system as a constraint satisfaction problem which can be solved using any off-the-shelf solver. The proposed system performs much better than the systems currently in use. Our system reduces the mean waiting time and standard deviation of the waiting time of vehicles and avoids deadlocks.","PeriodicalId":242439,"journal":{"name":"2020 2nd International Conference on Sustainable Technologies for Industry 4.0 (STI)","volume":"344 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123104864","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
