Firstly, the nonlinear dynamics of NSV is given. Then, T-S fuzzy model for NSV with additive actuator fault is established. The fuzzy sliding surfaces for NSV is designed by using a Lyapunov function, and the fuzzy fault-tolerant sliding mode control law is proposed such that the NSV with actuator fault confined on the sliding surfaces is asymptotically stable. Finally, simulation result is given to illustrate the feasibility of the proposed technique.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"60 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129142516","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Polytomous item relational structure (PIRS) is developed so that it is beyond the limitation of dichotomous items. Besides, student problem chart (S-P chart) is used to classify examinee into proper learning style. The integrated methodology of PIRS and S-P chart could display features of concept structures for each learning style. Features of concept structures for each learning style will demonstrate information of concept diagnosis. An empirical testing data of fraction subtraction for pupils is analyzed. Results show this integrated methodology will be useful for remedial instruction.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129239751","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the proposed IMM-based structure, two filters, quaternion-based extended Kalman filter (QBEKF) and gyroscope-based extended Kalman filter (GBEKF) are utilized for sensor motion state estimation. In the QBEKF, measurements from gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer are processed; while in the GBEKF, sole measurements from gyroscope are processed. The interacting multiple model algorithm is capable of adaptively fusing the estimated states from the two models, and generating better estimation results via the flexibility of model weighting. Simulation results validate the proposed estimator design concept, and show that the scheme is capable of reducing the overall estimation errors.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130579538","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It not only possesses the security properties of both blind signature and proxy signature, but also progresses in efficiency. Nevertheless, in signature generation phase, the receiver can forge the legal proxy signature without the authorization signatures of original signer and proxy signer. In this paper, we will propose an enhancement scheme to protect from being attacked with forgery. In addition, under the same computation cost, we construct the signature security infrastructure on the difficulty degree of solving Discrete Logarithm Problems(DLP) which result in more perfected security.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"229 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123862926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Particularly, we consider the case in which the annual premium is constant. Participating policies offer a minimum interest periodically, additionally an extra interest maybe credited to the policyholder according to the performance of a special portfolio. Moreover, the policy offers to the policyholder the right to terminate the contract before maturity and receive a certain amount of money. The aim of our work is to provide a way to decide an optimal set of contractual rates and premiums for the participating policy. To this end, we built an optimization model and solve it using the soft approach for hard optimization problems.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121296923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Two different control strategies, a cross-coupling controller in feedback loop and a linear quadratic optimal controller, were used to synthesize the synchronization compensator with the cross-coupling dynamics among the axes. These two methods are corresponding to SISO and MIMO approaches. With the strategies, the asymptotic convergence of both tracking and synchronization errors can be achieved. Simulation and experimental results of a three-axis motion system illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"91 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116271604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are different among diverse industries and distinct scales of production for various storage circumstances of raw materials. The management agencies under government and enterprises, and the safety evaluation personnel should pay close attention to the accident-prone places and the probability of the incidents in those areas. Effective measures to guard these places may avoid major incidents from occurrence in a certain degree. Some extremely dangerous source contains chemical, physical or toxic properties, which could lightly lead to fires, explosion or poisoning, so tremendous threats to life and safety may be faced. Starting from the standpoint of major dangerous source possibly causing emergency, this paper proposes a probability module for the emergency incidents by combining with Markov probability prediction theory, and presents the evaluation methods for the competence of individual or a team for such sources. According to the data from some enterprises which use liquid chlorine and vinyl chloride as the raw materials, the module is testified.","PeriodicalId":240226,"journal":{"name":"2009 Fourth International Conference on Innovative Computing, Information and Control (ICICIC)","volume":"99 4","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114010252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
