The paper first describes testing techniques in different state of product development where most focus is paid to the HiL. Then the universal low cost HiL device for PLC system is designed and described based on ATmega2560. The load on the electric motors directly depends on the distribution of pre-rolled strip reductions, which was developed in the research as favourable schedule and is in accordance with analytical calculations and experimental studies in the HSM 1700 shop environment. Reducing peak loads on electric motors due to the redistribution of reductions and synchronization of their work allowed increasing the mass of hot rolled coils at the intermediate stage of reconstruction of HSM 1700 from 9 tons to 15.83 tons. It was determined by calculation that the maximum length of a slab with a basic thickness of 150 mm, which allows implementing the synchronization processes on the HSM 1700, is 9320 mm. It is shown that a further increasing in the slab length requires of additional synchronization of electric motors of HSM 1700 rough stands No. 2-4. The required power of the electric motors of the stands was determined after synchronization, taking into account the load while the pre-rolled strip was in two adjacent stands at the same time. It was analyzed increase in expenses caused due to faulty motor exploitation. It was set the further ways of research related to forecasting motor expected lifetime basing on its current exploitation parameters, which aimed to increase its economic efficiency. Methods, used to evaluate expenses due to untimely. Timely diagnosis allows avoiding additional power losses and preventing serious damages which can significantly reduce operational expenses. Power supply quality influence is researched as one the most important factor that affects induction motor condition. Martynenko","doi":"10.1109/PAEP49887.2020.9240781","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/PAEP49887.2020.9240781","url":null,"abstract":"The paper discusses the problems associated with adequate modeling of dynamic processes in an energy gas turbine unit with active magnetic bearings (AMBs) as rotor supports. This unit is a part of the gas turbine cogeneration plant (GT CP). The subject of the research is dynamics of turbine and generator rotors. The problem of modeling the phenomena of rotor dynamics at operating modes is solved with full consideration of controlled electromagnetic processes in circuits of active magnetic bearings. Their analysis is performed using the contour flux method utilizing detailed AMB equivalent circuit substitution schemes. They take into account almost all significant elements of the magnetic circuit (air gaps, sections of magnetic cores, grooves with windings, coils and other parts). Mathematical description of rotor dynamics of this mechatronic system is performed using the Lagrange-Maxwell equations. Simulation computational studies are based on integrating the resulting nonlinear system of differential equations for generalized coordinates and flux linkages of electric circuits of AMB coils. It is performed using the high-order Runge-Kutta numerical procedure. The simulation results include Campbell diagrams and amplitude-frequency characteristics of rotating rotors. Validation of the proposed approach and simulation tools for dynamic phenomena modeling in the considered rotor system is carried out by comparison with data known from open sources. The calculation results prove possibility of numerical simulation of rotor dynamics of this energy machine class with complex structure and control systems of supports and indicate advantages of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":240191,"journal":{"name":"2020 IEEE Problems of Automated Electrodrive. The controllers of the angular speed of the rotor of a synchronous machine, d and q components of the stator current of the control system have synthesized using the concept of inverse dynamics problems and minimization of local functionalities in the form of acceleration energy and kinetic energy. Mathematical modelling has established that the application of control algorithms of non-traditional structure provides high dynamic characteristics in the entire control range and robustness to the action of parametric and coordinate perturbations. The need of control adaptation and compensation of signals of mutual influence is excluded. Such system could be in use to control motor with possible unpredicted behavior, which could be caused due to appearance of unexpected faults during its operation or other factors, when it is essential to keep operational process without stoppage, while prevent motor further damage development and its eventual failure. Proposed control systems are built on the basis of the artificial neural network and provides a list of possibilities for creating control systems that are resistant to the uncertainty of the object and the control process. It was chosen field-oriented control algorithm as a basis for neural controller due to its advantages that can be improved in future. The basic equations and elements of the indirect field oriented control scheme are given. The control scheme is developed basing on feedforward neural network which have two separate input layers: one divided hidden layer and one general hidden layer.
