There is an attempt to present oppositional attitudes of both titles against each other. All the articles about a vetting problem a week before and after May 11, 2007 were analyzed. Some questions had also been asked. Was the sentence similarly commented by both newspapers and Why was it commented in a particular way? After the analysis, the hypothesis was confirmed. That is, the comments on the sentence were opposite and unbalanced. It was because of different newspapers’ programme lines. It was ascertained that “Gazeta Wyborcza” was against the vetting whereas “Rzeczpospolita” supported it.","PeriodicalId":239502,"journal":{"name":"Refleksje. Internally Displaced Persons After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Georgia participated in the armed conflicts over South Ossetia (1991-1992 and 2008) and Abkhazia (1992-1993). As a consequence, Georgia had to accept forced displaced persons. The following thesis focuses on the Abkhazian conflict, its causes and effects. The thesis is based on the analysis of the specific situation of IDPs which has gone on since 1993. The thesis describes the living conditions and prospects of the group of Abkhazian Georgians who were displaced within the territory of their own country and became internally displaced persons.","PeriodicalId":239502,"journal":{"name":"Refleksje. If not reformed thoroughly, they will continue to pose a threat to a democratic civilian rule. The establishment of a transitional government and the ongoing electoral process are a significant opportunity. The objective of the reform process is to establish a much smaller force, accountable to civilians and capable of meeting the country’s security needs. The suspension of the second round of the presidential elections has heightened tension. Fears remained that if the election is not completed successfully, it may seize the opportunity to intervene again. This would be a major setback to any prospect of medium-term reform, which requires respect for civilian rule and oversight.","PeriodicalId":239502,"journal":{"name":"Refleksje. On the other hand, one has to examine them on the basis of some relevant variables modifying their use. Jacek Filek’s axiological theory of “demanding by values (a given response)” rooted in thinking of Roman Ingarden, Max Scheler and Nicolai Hartmann contains the best suggestion of such reasons. Niebylski","doi":"10.14746/R.2011.3.04","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14746/R.2011.3.04","url":null,"abstract":"The aim of this article is to study the philosophical, ideological and political roots of the Third Way concept. The analysis of these aspects should capture the genuine sources of the new faces of European social democracy and prove the thesis that this model is influential in West Europe as well as in Poland. The article asks the question: is the Third Way a political ideology with its own distinctive ‘core’, a loose fusion of different ideologies, or a strategy within an ideological tradition? Moreover, the article is an attempt to examine on what level the formula of the Third Way assume ‘going out’ of the disputes between the left and the right.
