At present, the space teleoperation technology extends the field of human perception, expanding the scope of human behavior, keeping people away from danger to accomplish the same tasks. However, there always exists communication latency problems insides the teleoperation process. To solve this problem, people use Augmented Reality Technology (AR) to superimpose the entity information obtained from the Space Teleoperation System to the real world. Currently, the traditional AR could only enhance or extend human visual system, but fail in effectively simulating touch states. In order to overcome this disadvantage, this paper introduces a novel method that combines the FreeForm Haptic System with AR to improve the tactual simulation. In addition, PHANTOM’s mechanical arm possesses high degrees of freedom and maneuverability. This article also proposes FreeForm mechanical arm as a remote actuators for space teleoperation.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114886863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We establish a very simple upper solution bound of the discrete algebraic Lyapunov equation (DALE). Then, using the Lyapunov equation approach associated with this upper bound and some linear algebraic techniques, several simple criteria are presented to guarantee the robust stability of the overall systems. The featuresof these present results arethat they are independent of any Lyapunov equation although the Lyapunov equation approach is adopted.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-04-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130073324","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the method, an iterative dynamic programming optimal BESS schedule approach and a PSO-based DR scheme optimization approach are executed alternatively until the maximum benefit reached. New devices and specification require tighter control of the filtering devices. This is a problem for SAW filters because they often have a large temperature coefficient. Some crystal cuts of quartz can manage the temperature affects and there have been other methods proposed to compensate for the temperature affects of some SAW devices. In this paper a novel method of SAW temperature compensation is proposed consisting of oxide trenches in a silicon substrate for an AlN SAW device. Along with the oxide trenches changes in the oxide trench sidewall angle allow for the adjustment of the second order TCF of the device. Using simulations the first order TCF was reduced from -26.7 ppm to 0 and it was possible to reduce the second order TCF from -24.7 ppb to -1.8 ppb. Since in most of cases it is almost impossible to eliminate or even reduce the oscillation produced in the dc-link, an attempt must be made to minimize the effects of dc-link voltage oscillation on the ac side. In this paper, a new PWM-based control method is proposed to deal with the problem. Changing the reference values, the proposed method helps to balance the generated voltage and the current. To prove the accuracy of the proposed control method simulation results using PSCAD/EMTDC are presented. For the sake of validity, both static and dynamic loads were applied in the simulation process.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"97 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122905872","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The proposed approach is based on the principle of approximating the gradient of cost-to-go using the dynamics of the sliding variable and a modified error. Validity of the proposed control design is established through Lyapunov analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed control design with fast transient response was demonstrated on a second order and 2-joint robot manipulator nonlinear systems with uncertainties. In this project we are going to study how coal is pulverized and burnt in order to gain more heat. Most coal fired power station boilers use pulverized coal. This technology is well developed, and there are thousands of units around the world, accounting for well over 90% of coal fired capacity. The coal is pulverized to a fine powder, so that less than 2% is +300 micro meter (μm) and 70-75 % is below 75 microns, for a bituminous coal. This system has many advantages such as ability to fire varying quality of coal, quick responses to changes in load, use of high pre-heat air temperatures etc. One of the most popular systems for firing pulverized coal is the tangential firing using four burners corner to corner to create a fireball at the centre of the furnace.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-08-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131686232","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on recent studies, PV technology and application is economically viable to be adopted in tropical countries like Malaysia where it receives more than 6 hours of direct sunlight each day throughout the year. The task aims to feasibly integrate all 6 climatic parameters of Radiation, Temperature, Wind, Humidity, Light Intensity, and Rain using graphical LabVIEW software and cRIO as means of Data Acquisition and Real Time Monitoring (DART) system. This approach creates a unique platform interface for Solar PV Monitoring Station (SPMS) to capture measurement from multiple sources and analyze visually in real-time and synchronize mode which is the crucial aspect for rapid fluctuating data flow. This information will be the source of reference in designing a complete PV generator system cited in the tropics. The detail hardware integration, data flow process and SPMS system are further discussed.","PeriodicalId":239044,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Automation and Control Engineering","volume":"222 1-2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134472170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
