Dominant motives for students and specialists are creative activity, recognition by people and self-actualization. The question is posed of the possibility of operationaliz-ing the methods of quantitative and qualitative assessment of an educational product through differen-tiated, comparable indicators of the level of development of specific competencies. As a sphere of perso-nality, important for the professional activity of the future specialist-psychologist, communicative compe-tence is chosen. A model of the structure of communicative competencies is introduced, which make up a set of professionally important qualities of a specialist, as well as tools for monitoring them in the process of studying at a university. A method for assessing the specific communicative abilities of students, their dynamics, as well as development methods in the context of educational and vocational training is proposed. The use of the model for the diagnosis and support of students receiving a psychological education in adulthood is justified. The proposed model meets the following requirements: 1) through the structure of communication reflects the components of communicative competence, taking into account the possibility of influencing them with a view to development; 2) contains scientifically based tools to make the necessary measurements; 3) allows you to track the dynamics of the communicative development of the individual at different stages of educational and vocational training, including, including initial measurement (“at the entrance”) and final (“at the exit”). The model was tested within the framework of the “Workshop on the Psychology of Communication” discipline, the main purpose of which is to form a systematic idea of students about communication as a socio-psychological phenomenon and about themselves as a subject of communication through familiarity with the methods of studying and developing the personality’s communicative qualities based on fundamental and applied knowledge on the psychology of communication.","PeriodicalId":236322,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Omsk University. Shadrin","doi":"10.24147/2410-6364.2020.1.24-36","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24147/2410-6364.2020.1.24-36","url":null,"abstract":"The categories of psychology are understood as the limit generalizations of various classes of psychical phenomena, including both the corresponding groups of particular concepts and the phenomena not yet subjected to final conceptual identification. They can be understood as the basic determinants of the psychic, having a socio-cultural nature (at the level of the subject of activity and personality) or bio-logical nature (at the level of the individual). \u0000The individual, the subject of activity and the personality, not being forms of “psychic”, should nev-ertheless possess special levers of regulation (or self-regulation) of such basic determinants of psyche, as motive, image, communication and action (that indirectly assumes also regulation of all vital activity of the individual subject of life). \u0000Not limited to the formula “personality as a transformed individual”, the author reveals the genetic continuity of the levels of the individual, the subject of activity and personality in the aspect of increasing of the degree of manifestation of the generic essence and “essential forces” of man in his individual exis-tence. \u0000At the same time, analyzing multilevel human activity from the point of view of “spatial” paradigm (in the aspect of human integration into different spheres of living space), the author finds the key to the relative independence of these levels and to the constant transitions from one of these levels of life activ-ity to another. \u0000The justification of the proposed provisions is given on the complex of the corresponding ideas of Kant, Fichte, Hegel and Sartre, taking into account the continuity between them.","PeriodicalId":236322,"journal":{"name":"Herald of Omsk University. An analysis of statistically significant differences in creativity (originality and uniqueness) in students with different levels of uncertainty tolerance showed that students with an average level of to-lerance for uncertainty have higher creativity rates than students with a high level of tolerance for uncer-tainty. On the one hand, these students are characterized by a certain ability to perceive new, ambi-guous, unstructured situations, not as a threatening factor, but as a challenge-containing situation, with-out experiencing pronounced negative emotions. On the other hand, these students are characterized by optimal emotional inclusion, increased activation, a desire to overcome uncertainty, as well as a certain, constructive “intolerance” to uncertainty. One of the scientific areas of study in the \u0000stated context is the implementation of the ideas of typological and subjective approaches to the study of \u0000responsibility as a property of an individual. \u0000The analysis integrates the results of the construction of typologies of responsibility, built on different age groups and in combination with the problem of building the life path, solving life contradictions \u0000and perfectionism.
