This paper presents a new approach for corner detection using first order difference chain-encoding. The proposed method is based on integer operations it is very simple and efficient. A personalized P2P trust management framework is proposed in this paper, to help good peers build up trust between each other and avoid malicious peers. This framework differs from others in that it totally abandons the attempt to achieve a global view, but instead, evaluates trust from a subjective point of view and gives personalized decision support to each peer. With DHT-based backward query and collaborative-filtering-based evaluating, this new idea achieves three main advantages: free of central control, strong immunity to misleading recommendation, and limited traffic overload. Thus, the need to perform document binarization in order to enhance the document image by separating foregrounds (text) from backgrounds. A new approach that combines a global thresholding method and a supervised neural network classifier is proposed to enhance scanned documents and to separate foreground and background layers. Thresholding is first applied using mass-difference thresholding to obtain various local optimum threshold values in an image. The neural network is then trained using these values at its input and a single global optimum threshold value for the entire image at its output. However our understanding of the impact of such technologies on the supply chain structure and logistics performance has been very limited. Through an in-depth examination of a case example in UKpsilas FMCG industry, this research explores how the tracking system has been implemented, and examines the impact it brings to both the shippers and the carriers. Both technical and, managerial issues are discussed along the analysis of costs and benefits. The research reveals that the use of real time tracking technology in logistics is still at its infancy stage in the UK, but with great potential to grow in the future. First of all, the method utilizes the elliptical model of a face to get a good normalized face image. This elliptical model based approach, thus, can easily delete the background region of high complexity. Next, the method generates a generalized FEM from the transformed data set of normalized face images. Finally, the coefficients of DCT, potentially containing important meanings, are extracted with the above generalized FEM, and are analyzed by using LDA. In this paper we present an upright frontal face detection system based on the multi-resolution analysis of the face. In this method firstly, skin-color information is used to detect skin pixels in color images; then, the skin-region blocks are decomposed into frequency sub-bands using contourlet transform. Features extracted from sub-bands are used to detect face in each block. A multi-layer perceptrone (MLP) neural network was trained to do this classification. To decrease false positive detection we use eyes and lips template matching. These templates achieved by averaging corresponding parts in LL sub-band of contourlet decomposition. The pattern of the human iris differs from person to person, even between monocular twins. This paper proposes a modified iris localization method and normalization method. In the iris localization after invert the iris image edges are detected by using the Canny edge detection. The average of the edge points as taken as coarse center of the pupil. Using coarse center of pupil, Circular Hough Transform method is applied to determine the location of the iris boundaries. The normalization is used for converting the circular iris into rectangular form with fixed dimensions. The proposed method is for non-concentric iris. In this paper 2D Log-Gabor Filters are used for feature extraction and hamming distance is used for matching. JMF (Java media framework) was adopted to achieve system development. Transmission and control of multimedia data were implemented by the streaming media technology of transport and control in conference process. By way of using real-time transport protocol (RTP) and real-time transport control protocol (RTCP), the performance and quality of conference data streams were dynamic monitored. Streaming media reception and send services of conference process were achieved by programming mechanisms of JMF RTP. Based-on Java Bean, Servlet and Applet program design languages, the system framework and client browser program design were completed, integration with product data management (PDM) system was implemented. This model is useful to represent flows of control and facilitate the complexity management of processes that have multiple dependent tasks. With the emergence of e-Science, workflow is becoming a standard for management of scientific processes with massive data sets. Within the workflow execution, scheduling of tasks is primordial to provide efficiency and to speed up the process results arrival. In this paper we consider the execution environment as being a computational grid, which is dynamic, non-dedicated, and has heterogeneous resources. We present a strategy for scheduling dependent task processes, dealing with scheduling and execution of more than one process at the same time potentially using resources in common. The algorithm is dynamic and adaptive, rescheduling tasks that are on the queue of resources not presenting good performance.
