In this model, it is considered that the seller provides a credit period to his buyer to settle the account and the buyer accepts the credit period policy with certain terms and conditions. The impact of learning and credit financing on the size of the lot and the corresponding cost has been presented. For the development of the model, demand and lead times have been taken as the fuzzy triangular numbers are fuzzified, and then learning has been done in the fuzzy numbers. First of all, the consideration of constant fuzziness is relaxed, and then the concept of learning in fuzzy under credit financing is joined with the representation, assuming that the degree of fuzziness reduces over the planning horizon. Finally, the expected total fuzzy cost function is minimized with respect to order quantity and number of shipments under credit financing and learning effect. Lastly, sensitive analysis has been presented as a consequence of some numerical examples.","PeriodicalId":233724,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Fuzzy Syst. In this paper, a discounting problem using piecewise quadratic fuzzy numbers is proposed. The implementation of piecewise quadratic fuzzy numbers is described based on such operations. Fuzzy arithmetic and interval number arithmetic are used for computation. The close interval approximation of piecewise quadratic fuzzy numbers is used for solving the proposed discounting problem. This research article addresses the discounted investment for Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3. Additionally, the authors determine the cumulative discounted investment for different values of the parameter α ranging from 0 to 1. A discounting problem using piecewise quadratic fuzzy numbers is solved as a numerical example to illustrate the proposed procedure.","PeriodicalId":233724,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Fuzzy Syst. The prevailing algorithm, fuzzy c-means, is performed on this scene. Moreover, this algorithm is performed in both inter band as well as intra band clustering (i.e., band reduction and segmentation are performed by this algorithm). Furthermore, a band that has topmost variance is selected from every cluster. This structure diminishes these bands into three bands. This reduced band is de-correlated, and subsequently segmentation is carried out using this fuzzy algorithm.","PeriodicalId":233724,"journal":{"name":"Int. J. Fuzzy Syst. After the introduction and the priliminary of the paper, in Section 3, the author has defined hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy ideals and studied several properities of it using the basic operations intersection, homomorphism and cartesian product. In Section 4, the author has also defined hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideals and hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy quasi-ideals of a semiring and used these to find some characterizations of regular semiring. Here, they have applied the proposed score function to calculate the separation measure of each alternative from the positive and negative ideal solutions to determine the relative closeness coefficient. Based on different types of score functions, they have employed the TOPSIS method to solve the multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problem in which all preference information provided by the decision makers is expressed in terms of fermatean fuzzy decision matrices. This paper addresses the problem of area coverage based on the Dempster-Shafer theory. The authors aim to ensure the full area coverage while using a subset of connected nodes, with minimal costs using a minimal number of dominant nodes regardless of the type of used deployment (random or deterministic). This is ensured by activating a single node in each subset of each geographic sub-area, thus extending the lifetime of the wireless sensor network to its maximum. The comparison of the proposed model denoted evidential approach for area coverage (EAAC) with two well-known protocols and with a recent one showed a better performance and a slight improvement in the covered area.","PeriodicalId":233724,"journal":{"name":"Int.
